And they're looking like they have a great chance of staying up aren't they mate.

They'll be so glad they got that extra few million for him when they're going away to Brentford next season.

Hang on, so West Ham are able to be level-headed about their transfers because they aren't going down, and Sunderland are able to be level-headed because they are going down..

Give it a rest.

Do exactly what Sunderland have just done FFS, hold out, tell the bidding clubs to keep going until one is left and sell him to that one.

You really are just being deliberately daft now.

Use your ****ing brain, if we don't sell him until deadline day we aren't going to have time to get replacements in.

QPR are set to sign midfielder Sean Goss from Manchester United for £500,000. The deal will include a buy-back clause.

Crystal Palace agree a fee with Sunderland for Patrick van Aanholt understood to be £14m.

Barnsley are set to complete the signing of midfielder Alex Mowatt from Leeds United on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
Slumberland selling one of their best players to a rival???

Where the **** did I say not to sell him until Deadline Day for **** sake? PVA handed in a transfer request and refused to play and Sunderland got 14m for him, a fee you labelled ridiculous and not in the 'real world' the other day. You defended West Ham's actions regarding Payet - another player who refused to play - as being because they aren't going down. You seem to basically have no clue what you're talking about and trying to back yourself out of a corner.

At the end of the day, nobody has a clue what the fee is for Snodgers, PVA or anyone. The media make up figures and there have been many times someone has confirmed the figures reported in the media are quite far wide of the mark.

Though someone seemingly ITK on the West Ham forum seems to think the fee is £5m.

My understanding was it's 5m up front and we'll then get 2.5m at season's end, plus another 2.5m in add-ons if (presumably) he scores X number of goals/assists. That's what I'd heard from some of the Journos reporting it. Could be wrong though, but thought we were only gettint 4-5m up front.

"my understanding" - like he's privy to discussions or something <laugh>

As 6.3Mr.CityManHatrecurring said, none of us have got a ****ing clue what the fees are. Every figure reported for Prosser was miles off the mark, the figures quoted for Quinn for months were well off the mark, the figure we say for Abel is miles out (according to Palermo) and the £13m for Mason is as well. Yet all of them are treated like FACT.
