IF I get a ticket I'll probably make a weekend of it - travel up by train on Saturday, book into a nice but not too expensive hotel and travel home on Monday. Fingers crossed.
Of course it is. It'll be Jose's final. The final of Zlatan and Pogdab. Thank god Rooney already has his record-breaker.Isn't that always the case anyway.? Especially in the media. Whoever faces us in the PL from the top 6, it seems as though we're always the unspoken opposition, not the main team, even when we're playing at home. For example, last night, Liverpool basically played an opposition. Pretty much all the pre-match media images and articles were about Liverpool playing another club. Only when it looked like we were going to win did they even up the coverage, and then suddenly make it seem as if Saints overcame the best team in the world, when in truth we are perfectly capable of beating any team, on any given day. There's nothing really special about Liverpool. It was the occasion that was special.
Having said all that, I'm glad if we're in black. We've put together some stonking performances in the Away kit in recent years. And to be brutally honest, I prefer this season's Away kit over the Home kit anyway, though neither are memorable.
The other thing about singing Red Army in the Final is that you'll inevitably confirm to the ManU players that the whole stadium supports them. Something which they probably think already anyway. You must log in or register to see media
Hope saints do some deals on the away shirt. Always questionable singing red army when we play in black, and I'd imagine one end in black and grey would look quality.
Excited again. Just coming down from last night and I thought "What is the best way for me to get to Wembley?".
Drive - no ...coming off Dry January I will want a drink
Train - good idea..BUT, engineering works on Sunday busses between Bmth and Southampton
Coach - hmm, let's see. £9.80 return. Arrive London 10:25am, return leave 23:00.......BOOKED!
So then which not606ers want to meet up in the big smoke for a drink/lunch (I owe u FLT) and a sing song?
...I better remember to get a match ticket![]()

That French one "La Maccy-Ds" or the Spanish one "el Macdonnalds". what the heck we'll go to the chic and trendy Italian "il Macdonaldos"Great shout - I can think of some reeeeaaaally pricey restaurants in London!!![]()
To be fair, if I wasn't on Dry January, I would have thought this month was made upI need to lay off the pills. Had this crazy dream last night that in the past week Ward-Prowse scored from open play and then Shane Long scored a last-minute goal to seal a trip to Wembley. Like that would ever happen to us!
I'm in similar boat with my mate I go with.Only issue I have at the moment is I fulfill the criteria for Member + 8 home matches, but
Dad - Member + 5 home matches
Brother - 5 home matches
Mum - 5 home matches
(Mum & brother are going to buy membership).
I'll have to wait for the rest of the fam to become eligible for tickets rather than buy mine as soon as I can if we want to sit together

Yep I agree with you there. I think ST holders should get one - part of the pull to buy one. After that they have made a bit of a balls up over it, though I can see they were trying to be fair as all our games in the EFL have been home games etc. but you cant please everyone.I'm sweating about getting a ticket full stop
Still not sure it's completely fair the way we'vre done it but you will never please everyone in a game with such big demand.
I'd like to see us move to a points system next season.
