It's here!

The window is going to close soon and once again rumours surrounding Carroll abound with reported interest from Liverpool, Spurs (though Arry denies this) and if the Torres deal goes ahead; expect further speculation.

As for incoming... Seems we've got Ireland on loan (insert financial pun here).

Happy? Ambivalent? Depressed?

Post your 'Super January 2011 Final Transfer Window Closure Day' dealing rumours, opinions and rants here!

I'll be glad to see it close with nobody leaving the club (though not upset if Xisco goes), we have a pretty strong squad and team spirit and I'd like to see a couple players come in to add to it I really wouldn't be to upset if it closed right now!!

im not sure about the need for another midfield player in ireland, if he can find his citeh form then great, but we do have a lot of midfield players in the squad, i would have thought we would have got some cover in for upfront and at the back?

My main concern was that Routledge was farmed out to QPR for the rest of the season leaving very little cover should Barton get crocked or pick up a few yellows.

I'm guessing that Ireland will be used in the right because currently he can't displace Nolan as the AM.

I'd say a LB cover, left wing (although Ben Arfa will be back soon and will be like a new signing), right winger which Ireland will probably cover now and maybe a striker.

it's more cover we need than 1st team players.

Newcastle are said to be on the verge of signing Delia Smith from Norwich on a loan deal until the end of the season.

A source close to Greggs said last night "Over the last few months, Mike and Derek have simply run out of ideas of how to continue to make Newcastle United the laughing stock of English football. The sacking of Chris Hughton was supposed to push the fans over the edge of reason, and both Mike and Derek were extremely dissapointed not to see any "Boycoutte" banners at the following Liverpool match.
They have been stunned at the way that the fans have backed the team and given Alan Pardew time to win them over. Derek has even volunteered to repeat his naked pitch invasion, this time touching his toes on the centre spot having had a W tattooed on each bum cheek, but Mike feels that he wants to bring in someone who really does have the "wow" factor"

When asked about the possible move, Delia commented that Ashley had made her an unbelieveable offer and that she could not pass up the opportunity of unlimited amounts of free sherry and a microphone in front of 50,000 "adoring " geordies.

To supplement the enormous cost of bringing in such an icon, a deal has been struck with Greggs to release the "Delia" range of pasties. The source continued, "Everyone concerned with the deal is working around the clock to make it happen. High level discussions are still ongoing and it is imperative that we lauch the Delia range in time for the Arsenal fixture"

Rumours of a possible Badger and Onion Pastie were spreading around the City last night, and it seems that this move will at last put Mike Ashley back in the spotlight.

Im sure you could set up a group, where the admin decides whether you are allowed in or not, and have a private thread/board. I've seen them on similar websites before anyway.

I would have liked to see cover for Jose and Van Arnholt who has gone out on loan to Leicester would have been a good move.

When we loaned him before he was very good.

Also I would like to see a new RM but pleased that Man City are keeping hold of SWP, like Routledge his final ball can be awful.

that's why i thought it was a none starter seems to be plenty of ways of contacting thanks for your thoughts <ok>

@Wein14 set it up yesterday but wanted some reaction and the general feeling is,seems it's not really necessary <cheers> anyway

i'll keep it up a few days see what the interest is

For selling tickets i think private messages would be better, but if there are a few people wanting to meet up for a drink or something i think that page would be ideal!

Just realised it's Charlotte, she's just done something different with her hair and looks much better.

The Mirror are claiming that Liverpool HAVE accepted a bid for Torres.

If true; the merry-go-round of rumour will start spinning.

Hold onto your hats, keep your hands and feet inside and enjoy the ride. It's going to go fast!
