He fails he gets sacked gets a million, he then manages a smaller club, maybe fades into obscurity....
I thought the figure quoted to usher him out of the side door was £2m, not £1m?

Neil refused to be drawn on the back page story in Friday’s Sun newspaper stating he is in line for a £2m pay-off if the Canaries’ top brass opt to dismiss the Scot following the club’s Championship downturn.

Bennett being monitored by a number of Championship and PL teams. IF this true, then clearly other managers rate Bennett more than AN. Only a few months on his contract so it's stick or twist with this one? Pity Bassong was not on anybody's radar. Lafferty not in the frame at the moment.

Think our our defence got better since Bennett been dropped, personally I don't rate him too much either.

That story originates in the ever reliable (not) HITC. Bennett's strength lies in his heading and his long legs (witness his recent goal-saving tackle to prevent a striker going clean through on goal). His weaknesses are a tendency to be slow to react and backing off from players driving towards goal. He can be excellent at times and go missing at others and it's that inconsistency which is keeping him out of the starting line-up. I'll believe the massive ranks of PL clubs vying for his signature when I see them making bids. Agent speak more like.

Agreed - when Lambert ( I think ) brought him in, he was supposed to be the best thing since sliced bread, but has singularly failed to reach any sort of level. Very poor, (has to be if Martin is keeping him out) also has been very injury-prone, and if someone, (anyone) wants him, we should get rid.

Paddy Davitt seems to think the Zeegelaar move is a no go.
Best we stick with the quality (at LB) already on the books, then?
(Dutch translation makes no sense - says something about burped?
Delia after too many amontillados? :emoticon-0112-wonde )
