Bloody hell! Unforgivable!!! I dread to think what you do to your wife if she burns your tea!
Talking about unforgivable please dont tar Boro with the same brush as Hull
Were buying players that can make a difference to survival, You thick cu nts are selling them<doh>

That will make a massive difference as the season approaches the end i have no doubt

It was 19.5 million spent (2nd lowest in the league)
Sold Diame for 4.5 million

Taking the net spend down to £15million.

Not to mention losing Aluko, Diame and Ryan Taylor off the wage bill.

that's only because the £6.5m for Henrikson was deferred until January

Snodgrass has been our main source of goals this season and it obviously follows that selling him to a rival and particularly for £10m is frankly insane. However, we have four new players in and maybe two or three more to come, which we have to presume Marco will appreciate as the type of players he can nurture to make City play in the particular way he wants. 6 days left of this madness.

I'm more bothered about us letting our best larker go to one of our close rivals in the table. For some reason, I have this confidence in Marco to get the players in that he needs and that he will get the best out of said players. It just seems stupid of us to lose Snoddy to a rival. Losing Jake was at least slightly better in that WBA are safely in midtable and it doesn't feel quite so much like a sideways move.
there's no "safely in mid table"
plenty of clubs could get relegated
they only have to have a few games losing run and they are among it again

You'll be fighting relegation, don't kid yourself.

Good job you signed Patrick Bamford, he's a really prolific striker. Michael Dawson must be ****ting himself at the thought of having to play against him again. <laugh>

Exactly! Money was there! It was just the Allams whether it's right or wrong, didn't agree with Steve Bruce's targets and were unwilling to let him blow cash and get us relegated again!!

They may not have agreed with his targets but, that's what we ended up with, we didn't have time to get any others because of Ehaws brinkmanship.

A fan on Facebook is claiming he spoke to Snodgrass this morning at training and Snoddy said he doesn't really want to leave (the fans being one reason because of the support we've given him) but feels like the club leave him with no choice because he needs to protect his family financially (this'll have been before Boro's bid came out - which suggests he doesn't want to go to Burnley regardless). He apparently asked for 1.5 years more than what the club offered.

Obviously this could all be hearsay but thought it was worth passing it on for anybody who hadn't see that on FB.

Snodgrass £4million upfront - £6million if said team avoids relegation.

So there is only £4million there to be reinvested immediatley.

that seems reasonable
once you get into your 30s it's difficult to get a good contract

quick question, if we go and sign a couple of decent players for a decent fee and then maybe a couple of others as well, will you take it back about constantly and I mean constantly going on about us been a selling club!?
For the last time, nobody knows what's going on and it's getting boring listening to the same people go on and on and on.
If in 6 days we haven't replaced anybody then by all means crack on but until then! Wait and see!

It gets boring listening to people ****ing over players they not heard about a month ago whilst at the same time being dismissive over the contributions made by others who have foolishly been moved on.

I'd suggest right off the bat that it's bollocks because it would mean either we offered him a contract until January one season or he asked for a contract until January.

And two because he just wouldn't make any comments like that to a fan.
