No, members tomorrow, general sale on Friday. I've actually got mine but really wanted some mates to come, was gonna make a right day and night of it, unlikely to happen now though.
I got mine today, I was told 3700 and 2700 as of 4pm where sold! So I see them being sold out by close of play tomorrow. Not sure the trees want to many of us there with it being a non derby game and all that.......
Apparently, a Blackburn fan on ja606 says Kean never spoke to Sky and they've just twisted his words from their local paper. Could give credit to Stringer's tweet then.
Steve Kean said they was close to signing a defender but he never mentioned a name. The media are just throwing Sol Bamba's name in. I believe Stringer
I dont think he will leave now to the tell you the truth, no one knows how fourth official finds stuff out. Who does Bert even find stuff out as he has been wrong before like he said we made a 4th bid for Maynard and we didnt Stringer gets most stuff right so i trust him
Well the only ones saying there's been no bid are Stringer and people with no sources! Sky, Bert and Fourth-Official surely have a better record in this area???
Do not sell, how can he want to leave? he has only been here 6 months! And the fans love him? Bad move for him? We are sure to go up and he will be in the prem with a club that has more money and better manager and owners?
Not sure who to believe regarding Bamba. Fourth Official seems sure of it, whilst local journos think it's rubbish. But Sky's report yesterday was rubbish, Kean was talking about a Croatian player they're close to signing, not Bamba. However, if any bid of near £3m came in, I think we'd be mad to refuse it. Bamba is, to put it kindly, inconsistent; when's he's good he is very good, but too often he is clumsy and hap-hazard. I personally think Bamba would be a disaster in the PL and would be highlighted more than once on MOTD for his, at times, awful defending. And to make a £2.75m profit in the space of 9 month is incredible business!
No it isn't, we don't need the money. Have you realised how hard it is to bring in good players even with money? We would have to find a replacement quickly with the season already under way. Better business would be holding on to a good defender. Tunchev is still possibly crocked and out on loan, Ball is fat and not a centre back, and I don't think SSL is good enough fro first choice. Despite seemingly buying a lot of defenders, we are still pretty short in this area. Yes he can be inconsistent but with a good centre back next to him in Mills I'm confident he'll do us more good than bad this season. On his day he is Premiership class. I think letting him go would be a disaster at this stage.
I think Bamba plays better against quality. He was great against Real Madrid and didn't look uncomfortable at all. I think it would be a huge loss for him to go now after all the efforts to gel the team during pre-season. Also, how much will a similar replacement cost? Keep him.
