So Brady is about to go so some much needed dosh for imports. £9m now and up to £3 in add-ons means that if there is a Hull sell on clause then this sum could be reduced to? We may be able to put off this sell on clause money for some future date. Now the domino effect could happen - we have 6 days to go.

Not sure what to read into this? Sounds like an ultimatum from Aberdeen -
but who owns the player? <yikes>
Mr Neil said last week, he'd not make a decision until the last possible moment, depending on how other injuries clear up and any late moves - in or out in the transfer market.
Perfectly reasonable, as I understand it?

Derek - We haven't heard from Norwich regarding James and I can't sit back and wait for them.

Unfortunately, in dominoes there is a double blank.

There's also a double 6 as well, but I reckon we'll come out somewhere between the two, though I think Zeegelaar would be a very good replacement for Olsson and we could also afford Meredith as back-up and competition. I also think that £9m + £3m in add ons would be a reasonable deal for Brady and hopefully that'll unleash the 'domino effect'.

*Oxymoron alert* <yikes>

"Leeds are looking to complete a double loan swoop for attacking stars Sergi Canos and Ashley Fletcher, according to a reliable journalist.

Sun correspondent Alan Nixon revealed on his personal Twitter account that Leeds remain interested in signing Norwich’s Canos and West Ham’s Fletcher this month"

Canos on loan to Leeds? Not sure if AN wouldn't prefer to sell him. I thought Brentford were lining him up to buy? Anybody think we will get the 6th spot for play-offs even after the rumoured changes to the squad?

I guess much will depend on how our rivals strengthen as well - if you believe the rumours the Villains are buying everyone who has ever kicked a ball and some of the teams above us are also spending/loaning with a view to getting into the Play-Offs.

We still can do it but there are too many variables to consider right now.

Bearing in mind Villa's purchase of McCormack seems to indicate they are not necessarily strengthening! <ok>

Latest rumour in the coveted "Have we signed a Left Back yet" scenario is Mitchell Dijks a 23 year old currently with Ajax says the BBC.

It is an erroneous report as it says we haven't signed anyone this window which is incorrect of course as we signed that Icelandic lad Gofar Wellmysson.

That rumour comes from Radio Norfolk apparently so there could be something in it:

"Norwich are in talks with Ajax left-back Mitchell Dijks about a move to Carrow Road, BBC Radio Norfolk reports. The 23-year-old began his career with the Dutch giants, but had a spell with Willem II before rejoining them in the summer of 2015. Dijks has made 15 appearances for Ajax this season in the Dutch Eredivisie and Europa League."

He's 6'4" tall! Big for a LB.

Another good player to be linked to.I'd rather the other guy, as for a LB he'd get forward. This guy is good though. He has played CB before. I wonder if we could get both, and play Dijks as a CB with Klose?

I just don't get it. I thought Brady would be worth £12m minimum without add-ons, and it would go higher from there. And why would he go to Palace? Is my sense of valuation and logic all screwed up?

The defender [Mitchell Dijks] has already been touted with a move to Norwich, with Ajax now reportedly confirming the rumours.
Norwich have been left short at the back after Martin Olsson left to join Swansea in a £4m deal last week.
Now, Crystal Palace have reportedly had a £9m bid accepted for Robbie Brady.

This would leave Norwich with Steven Whittaker as the only viable left-back option.

<yikes> <doh> <wah>
