Good news. Reportedly highest earner at the club now and can't say isn't deserved, by far our best player and become such a consistent performer last season and half.

Reckon we've got a good 2-3 more years with him, if we're still not challenging for titles and in CL in that period then he may wish to look elsewhere but couldn't blame him. He'll be in his prime and probably want to ensure he wins some things

thats fair enough like....

but its a temporary boost to the squad to see form rewarded
 
Since their new manager came in Hull have had to sell Livermoore and now Snodgrass. They've given up entirely.

Considering they just played Chelsea, their next PL fixtures are...

United
Liverpool (probably give our usual charitable 3 points to relegation candidates)
Arsenal

Things look bad for them.

yup selling to burnley as well is weak as sin.

I can ee us losing having seen what they did v cheslea. but... well i hope this selling of players knocks the heart out of them.

As much as I despise Lovren, tieing him down for more years is good business, especially to preserve his value. I'll still be very surprised if he's first team starter next year.

Lallana - I think he's been brilliant as CM. that's still only a handful of games in his Liverpool career. Does that warrant a new contract? Not sure - but if he continue to play him as a CM and shows the consistency, I have no issues.

Just annoying that we're not buying anyone this January - I do think it will hurt us. Hopefully I'm wrong.
 
Snodgrass to burnley is an odd one. Didn't see that coming.

Guess they have just replaced him with markovic but still, sell to a relegation rival is an strange. If he helps keep burnley up and hull go down, that £10m will seem like a bargain for burnley and be useless to hull
 
You lot are lucky I sense check my posts when on phone... inagine how much less sense they'd make if I didn't considering you see the ones I do

Surely a mistake to sell someone who's goals might keep them up <doh>

I hope Hull get relegated, they ****ing deserve it imo
