Evandro features on the list above twice. **I didn't read to the end of the thread** Maybe SKY are trying to make us feel better about our first team options
um I didnt wanna seem as tho I was coming off as petty. it is very good work fez! can you do one for our walking wounded?
For The **** Yes. Fill The Fifty Years Fart To Fart Yourself Im **** at acronyms! ah I see what you did there 'patty'
Maybe we should? But if we are generally agreed that the ins, outs and injuries (+African Cup players) , along with this listing are accurate, I will be interested to see the change made over all and in the last week.
How many of that first team list are injured? I have lost count. Long term Odubajo, Keane, Henriksen and Mason Short term Davies Anymore?
Using 3 keepers, losing the kids, injured, those just returning & those strongly rumoured to be away I get a current available squad of 19 in total. EDIT: sorry 20, left off the Scouse reject we signed.
I agree insofar as I can see Snodgrass going, but I really doubt it is part of some Silva revolution or masterplan. He has already gone on record as saying he didn't want to sell Livermore; I just think he is patching up as best he can, given the financial limitations he is working under. Unfortunately for him, 'Typical City' dictates that as soon as he solves one problem with a signing, another injury seems to hit somewhere else. A couple of weeks ago, we were looking at the midfield as virtually the only part of the team with any depth, with 6 players for 3 slots. Now we are left with Clucas, Huddlestone, Evandro and Meyler as realistic options to pick from for the rest of the season unless we get someone in. Question then is, how do we fund it? Is the Livermore money available, or are we reliant on letting someone else go. Problem with letting Snodgrass go, is he is our marquee signing and single most influential player- if he goes he will strengthen a direct rival and we will have to replace half our goals, some of the best set pieces in the League, and virtually our only creative force. For all Livermore's qualities, he wouldn't win a game on his own whereas Snodgrass going would be a killer blow as I just cannot see how anyone we could bring in is likely to have that kind of influence. I wouldn't mind so much but the money we seem to be talking couldn't even get Robbie Brady back ffs.
