The 'play' - your words and in this context the attacking move - was on Bournemouth's left hand side. Harry was defending the right. Maybe they refer to 'the play' differently in Aussie Rules but that's what we mean when talking football.
Must be why he plays horribly at CB. Hazard tore him to pieces yesterday. Positioning is completely different at CB, and when you have a partner next to you to assist in preventing those runs, as well as a keeper behind you, it's a very different role to play. It's why you have specialist positions like RB, CB, LB, etc. rather than just Joe Defender who can play anywhere along a back four.
The play was down our right side, to suggest anything different is utterly bizarre, and why you insist of squabbling over rubbish like this is bizarre. Go on, have the last word again.
Eh? We played Chelsea yesterday morning my time, it's now Tuesday night, I woke up Monday morning to watch the game.
I think Harry would be alright at breaking up play in the middle but he's only so good at dribbling out from the back because the opposition are pegged back by the midfield at those moments on the game. If he was based in the midfield he'd find much less space to run into.
Yeah your right, his lack of pace has NEVER and will NEVER be exposed at centre back. He gave the pen away purely because he was playing right back, nothing to do with his lack of pace or game awareness.
I do love it when you say "have the last word again" which can only, by definition, give you the last word if I ignore or you claim I'm childish if I respond. But back to the point, every single person ever talking about that move which led to that penalty would say the play came down the left. FACT. Except you, obvs. Go on, have the last word.
Again putting words in my mouth, I never said that, I pointed out why he had a poor game when playing out of position.
No but I watched it in Australia. So when I speak of the game, it occurred yesterday. Just a tip, there's more than one time zone on the planet.
You said he didn't have a bad game and he gave away the pen because he was playing right back? Get the tampon out your arse and stop looking for arguments with people for no reason. The bottom line is Harry has been good the past few weeks but we are getting carried away with the valuations and the England chat. We are also forgetting/ignoring his limitations. He has potential but that is it at the moment, needs to play a lot more games to justify some of the chat on here.
Says the bloke trying desperately to think up excuses to have a crack at a player nationally and internationally recognised as one of our best at the moment. I'm not looking for arguments, you're being ridiculous. If you bothered to read my posts you'd see I agreed he had a poor game, out of position, but apart from that one moment of foolishness he wasn't all that bad and tried his heart out in a tough position.
In case you haven't noticed, I don't live in England, some of the media I read isn't from England. Most people see him as one of our best. Not sure what plot I've lost.
