Firstly, hello friends, it's been a long time! (Sits back and waits for the usual narrow minded sycophantic local media boot lickers to reply).

Well to paraphrase Marco Silva when taking to the real media without hidden agenda: "It's football...”.

I'd actually further this. It's not football anymore, it's just business!!!

As Don Robbie and the Oughtreds might have said years ago, it's the same as marketing Tiger Cola. It's all about Money!!!

So you start a thread and don't want people to reply?

Who's the real media? Sooty?

Have you got a job at KCOM?
Whatever happened to the Hull Trinity?

Welcome back Mussie, the boards been poorer without your unique insight and views.

There are a lot of fools on Here that think

There is a hidden new owner with a master plan.
The new manager is in control.
Jake wasn't fitting in to his style.
We have secured a master stroke by bringing in a new team who will revolutionise the football
There is a bright new dawn

Sadly I think the reality is we have no one close to interested.
The owners are completely in charge and the new manager is just doing what he is told money wise
Jake was a tragic loss that no one wanted
We got a team that was desperate to sign at a PL club so they have come cheap and will do what they are told

As for the bright new dawn I remain positive as any change can help. I'm certain that this isn't how the majority of people on here see it as or hope it is!
If we succeed it will be down to fortune, not because we paid top dollar for class.

So where does your real football come from? You'll have to drop a fair few leagues before you find a football club that isn't run like a business. You go to Ferriby don't you? Because you think the Premier League isn't worth watching (or some other precious reason)? Ironic then, that I was speaking to Steve Forster a couple of weeks ago about advertising revenue and how to get the club running self sufficiently as a business. Oh dear. Off to watch Market Weighton Town you go.

What?!?

Surely you didn't miss the opportunity to suggest a name change to something shorter, something less common?
Perhaps Ferriby Falcons or even Ferriby Eagle?

It's Assem Allam who wanted that, Ferriby aren't associated with him. It's Steve who runs the club. He pays for everything.
