Boyata from Man City is available on loan. I know this because Bristol City want him, would mind nicking him to piss them off.

Sven links with Man City so it could be a possibility

    Tweet from Stringer

Re Sol Bamba to Blackburn. Seems possible. Reports of interest in summer. Not spoken to press pre-season, missed last night

I can't believe we are selling him. Why do we constantly sell for peanuts??!???!!?!??!?!?!?!

He will cost us a game this year but will also save/win us 5 games too!

This is complete and utter bullshit!!!!

He's usually spot on as well. Mind you, it's not as if you're short of defensive options....

I can only assume that Bamba has said he wants to go, and for me, £3m is more than a generous amount for a player who can go from brilliant to shocking.

With our lack of CBs, I also assume Sven has an immediate replacement in mind.

If Bamba would prefer to leave, then I definitely don't want him to be forced to stay.

Well thats a bit of a blow - but as far as business goes its cracking. In: 250K and out 3 Million. A cool £2.75 Mill profit.

At the very least this will bring our total spend/out goings to £7.5Mill. Of which £5Mill went on one player. So if any fan wants to say we have bought the league then they can f right off - WH have now spend a similar amount of cash!

my only other consolation would be the opportunuty to see a Bamba Samba partnership at the back

If we are being completely honest, I do wonder how many of us don't want to see Bamba because

    a) we don't have CB cover

    and/or

    b) we don't need the money

Both valid reasons, but not really based around the quality of the player. If we also had Vitor or Mee in the squad and it had been stipulated we needed to sell before we could buy any more players, would anyone really object to £3m mill for Bamba?

Yes he played well against Real Madrid, but we all know his form gradually got worse at the end of last season, and it wasn't a coincidence that we improved at the back when he got injured.

Don't get me wrong, he looks to be improving again next to Mills, but as mentioned above, if we reflect on his whole tenure at Leicester, are the reasons we definitely don't want to sell him based on his ability exceeding the £3m offer that's been suggested?

Alas it would indicate that Samba is going to Arsenal so we won't hear "Samba to Bamba, to Samba, to Bamba..." as Blackburn play it along their back line before hoofing it upfield.

All seems rather bizarre to me ... would not sell him for £3m in this market .. £5m perhaps but still can't see why he would want to go .. we have better long term prospects than Rovers (no disrepect meant) and surely we can offer him wages of at least equivalent ..
