Col I have a few American friends and most think Obama is a muppet who was not a very good President.
Once again SKY go straight over to a handful of protestors and interviewing them while I want to watch the new Presidental ceremony. Typical Impartial Kay Burley concentrating more on the demonstrators.
You got a very jaundiced eye imo. My jaundiced eyes see Sky News as a typical Murdock far right Conservative outlet who today have spent max 2% on demonstrationa against Trump, about 93% on Trump and his supporters, and about 5% on Obama and previous Presidents.

Sadly your jaundiced eye cannot see beyond what they tell/show you. Maybe you should ask questions about things rather than trying to mock others?

2%? Oslo You need to sort your % out because 15 0f the last 20 minutes have been showing these freaks dressed in black.

BBC just had some nice shots of Trump signing some stuff with a kid, who I presume was a Grandson, pulling faces just behind his shoulder. Most enjoyable.

I liked the shot of Hillary Clinton's face that was sour and miserable then as soon as she caught the camera she smiled. It was so false.

It's more now because there are more demonstrations and police / military ?trying to contain it. More intersting viewing than more reruns of America First speech!

It also reflects the low approval ratings and anger at Trump im the US now, compared to the huge welcome Obama got when he became President.

Must have been agony for her. The lack of turnout both from politicians, celebrities and the general public is a clear slap in the face for Trump. Doesn't change anything though, he is now The President.

I just turned it over to an American news channel and they have just said that there are not that many protesters and it's an isolated incident. The press as usual need a story so have pounced on it.
I would also add that security was very high for Obama with a massive bulletproof screen. There was also demonstrations but it wouldn't have been right to show them. He wasn't popular in many parts of the U.S and is not a popular president after his 8 years in office.
But why ruin a good story?

I thought the turnout looked pretty good. It was never going to be as much as the first black President. Was it less than Bush?

Bill didn't even bother smiling. Can you imagine the time he's been having with her over the last couple of months?
He would probably be with someone else and if you believe the DC rumors she would have been with someone else as well.:emoticon-0136-giggl

Not a popular president? He's got the highest approval ratings on leaving office and Trump has the lowest on taking office.

Trump has majored on restoring jobs, but he and his supporters are ignoring the fact that when Obama took office unemployment was at 11% and as he leaves it is at 4%.

That's funny all I keep hearing is how crap he was. But I guess we should always believe the polls.

You only hear what you want to hear, Ellers. Anything else is biased.
Why because I am not some sheep who follows others without question? Obama has a good approval rating as he leaves office but at one stage during his presidency, he was one of the most hated (even more than Bush). If you Google it, you can read some interesting stuff about him.
But why bother you can just criticize every one of my posts but like the 'mandate' one you said something then went quiet because you were wrong.

I'm not particularly critical of Obama's record on the domestic economy, but as to unemployment, he came to power during a deep recession, so you would expect unemployment to go up as the US climbed out
