Its very difficult to make a sensible case for a 14yo but I am very keen on the chance of
PADDY THE OSCAR 11/1 Chepstow 3.20
Proved his wellbeing recently and is one of very few in the race that are weighted with a winning chance.

Flint ham 2 10 Chepstow -- 8/1 -- lead these a merry dance ? like his brother and mother , 3 miles on deep ground right up his street , the stable were upbeat about his intended target the other week before weather claimed the fixture , was entered in a listed contest at Warwick last sat , but reckon they've gone for a more winnable one here ...

Hello, you types. Quite like 2 today and if I was one of those chav types, or a ‘Cock-enn-nee’, I’d be recommending a ‘Barney Rubble’. SHAAMA GRISE, as my regular readers know, is a mare I’ve had my eye on for a while and after a satisfactory introduction on her UK debut really ought to oblige today for those old rogues, the Pipe’s (2.45 Chepstow). Whilst at Wolverhampton tonight PAPER FACES (7.45) looks to have been found a nice opportunity to break her maiden. 62 looks a more than fair perch from which the old girl can oblige.

Meanwhile, here’s a challenge for the membership. Looking at today’s NH cards some of the runners form resembles a tough round of ‘Countdown’ so with that in mind what, I say what, is the rudest word (I don’t know incidentally it’s not a quiz) that can be formed from using the letters in a horses form. Please note letters only – you can’t use 1 as ‘i’ or an uplaced zero as an ‘o’. A Barney Bonus to the best answer.

    Good luck all.

"FUR BUFF" is a pretty saucy expression <ok>

As in "Cor blimey, I'd like to buff that young lady's fur"

Taking things down a level, something that quite possibly smells of semen could be a "PUFF BURP"

    I'll get my coat .......................

I'll give Chestnut Ben a chance in the next at Musselburgh. He has a pretty good record around here. Each way with the dead eight at 7/1.

I always thought you were most definitely one of those chav types, not a genuine 'someone from the Smoke', but a chav type nevertheless.

I didn’t actually realise how difficult it was going to be when I set the task - find a rude word from a NH animals formline. Passable efforts thus far, pilgrims, but as someone once said, on these very pages, ‘more research required’.

Paper Faces for the ‘Barney Rubble’ then. Keep ‘em crossed, troops.
