Cant see none of what's gone on today regards Jake happening without the consent of MS, one think that comes across with him, is that he appears to be his own man, like what has been said before, when the window shuts will be the time to judge , weather its a master stroke or a total f**k up.
Lose livermore and snodgrass

You're possibly right, however, I also don't want to lose a British player and replace with a foreign import, I'm a big believer in having a good core of British players in the team.
If we assume that we are setting up to play 4-3-3 then for those 3 midfield positions we have
Hudds
Mason
Evandro
Snodgrass
Clucas
Meyler
Henrickson (when back)
That's more then enough cover.
Up Front
Hernandez
Niasse
Diomande
No where near enough cover.
So if we re-invest the 10 mil in the under strength areas, then how is it a bad thing.
Like the whole of the defence and 3 of our midfield last week, without Livermore?
Which ironically is how we started this season ....Surely Snodgrass is a must keep??
If you think Jake Livermore is worth more than 10 million you are either pissed or deluded. Are we forgetting Livermore was in the PL with us we got relegated? And this season we are in the bottom 3 again, with him in the team.
We bought him for 8 million and at the time I felt we were ripped off. I still do. He's never ever a 10 million pound footballer and we should sell him and add to the squad. Let our new manager put his stamp on things, why are people so desperate to keep players that have failed in the Premier League with us before and are currently doing it again.
Let Marco reinvest the money and give us a real chance of surviving.

Your basing that on not signing anyone else! We will see probably 3 or 4 more players come in so no time to panic yet. We also have 4 games coming up which are free hits.
If we are still saying this on Feb 1st then by all means panic, but let's see what happens
Snodgrass always plays in the front three in that formation and I expect Evandro to do the same.
And Snodgrass probably won't be here anyway.
Extremely awkward. The main problem has been the owners, they struggled to even get a new manager in, so players won't be that easy to get either.

By the end of Jan we will know who had gone and who has arrived. Then we can see who we have paid for and who is on loan and start doing the maths re sales...

Everyone seems to expect a new manager to come in and just buy a couple of players and then make a squad that has failed multiple times start performing. People need to realise that this team is simply not good enough and hasn't been good enough and that includes Livermore. Therefore let Marco make his changes and if that includes some of the under performers and for the vast majority of his hull city career Livermore has been one of them, leaving then so be it.
I'd prefer them all to come from Hull.......but failing that the best in the world will do !!
