Alexis Sanchez has admitted to two counts of tax fraud in Spain, during his time at Barcelona.
He's paid the money back and now faces a large fine, as well as possible prison time, though he almost certainly won't serve it.
Spanish law allows you to pay to avoid any jail time for sentences of less than two years, IIRC.

Time to rescind that work permit, I feel. It's only fair. <whistle>

Reactions: The Changing Man
Nike launched a new football boot this week. To promote it they assembled the top scoring strikers in the major European leagues, apart from Spain. Also in attendance was some kid who has scored 15 career goals, 8 in the league. The reason for him being there........well, we all have our ideas on that one....

Anyone wondering why lots of English youngsters fail to improve from talented beginnings? No, me neither.

Juventus have unveiled their new logo:

How to piss off your entire fanbase in one tweet, essentially. Well done. <ok>
I think it would be suitable for Jermaine Jenas merchandise, if any existed. For Juventus? Not so much.

That doesn't in any way look like a brazen attempt to appeal to the Far Eastern market...

Back when I was 17 I had an Italian girlfriend. Her dad was a mad Juve supporter and she gave me a Juve sticker that was immensely stylish and looked like this:

Why anyone would want to go away from something that looks that cool, I have no idea.

Utd are unbeaten in 12 PL games since October - with only Chelsea taking more points from those games. Utd have conceded only 8 goals in that period - better than any team bar Chelsea. That period is almost a third of a season. Sounds like progress to me for a manager who's only been at the club for half a season. It doesn't mean Utd are going to win the league or even get top four, but it does show that Mourinho is getting results and with 17 games still left, I wouldn't be so sure a 5 point lead is safe when your team is capable of throwing a 3-1 lead at Bournemouth in the space of a few minutes. I'd be more interested in analysing a comment such as "Klopp has definitely not yet improved Liverpool's shaky defence."
Come on Luke. You,the fans, the manager, the owners, the south of England are expecting to hold the PL trophy at the end of the season after all that spending.
Not sure what the players are thinking.....

Can you remember that far back Brian.....I can't!

A brief history of Juve badges, based entirely off the fact I was a Juve fan during the Football Italia days...and before you ask, it's entirely because Roberto Baggio was playing for them, I genuinely had no idea I was glory seeking

I may have got a little off-topic there...

People back from the dead [again], appearances of formerly unknown siblings, a plot that made no sense whatsoever.....it was like what I imagine Dallas must have been like.
I thought it was top notch. He seems to be no longer a detective, but the writing is excellent. Who came back from the dead?
