Those stats don't distinguish between our frequent long switches to feet and your standard vertical hoofs to the head <ok>

We're happy with the job Mourinho is doing, so if you're happy too it's [HASHTAG]#winwin[/HASHTAG] <diva> <cheers>
Thanks Astro, I won the sweepstake! <laugh>

By the way, love the fact you have designated yourself spokesman for the collective. I can think of a few Liverpool posters who will be horrified <laugh>

Ahhh the old "Liberpuul play long passes, the opposition play hoof ball lad" classic.

I love it when the opposition use a tactic that negates the way you play and they get something by using it, some reds always seem to take the view that it's somehow wrong that they had the temerity to use it.

So when you said "we" you meant the various Astros who have been convincing each other that they're right, despite reality suggesting otherwise, since you jumped on your John Barnes bandwagon :1980_boogie_down:

Man Utd are entitled to be the billion pound Stoke, you have to do what you can in the face of superior opposition <ok>

I only represent the views of my own account(s) <ok>

It's true though. We hardly lump the ball upto Coutinho, Firmino and Mané, as what would be the point. Whereas when utd bring on Fellaini every game, there is only one reason and it isn't his silky skills

I've got no problem with hoofball as an option - I wish we could have done it against Chelsea back in 14. To be honest though, I truly think he only went that way as since Coutinho had come on Liverpool had, for the first time in the game really, looked quite possible of getting another on the counter. I had, I confess, feared him bringing on Rashford and putting him up against a tiring defence and midfield (especially young Alexander).

Jose did what he had to do, just as I was totally thrilled the way we totally snuffed out yourselves and City (though that didn't continue against Sunderland and Soton). What I have to say about Jose (and Robbie savage too) is this - there's absolutely no ****ing comparison between Unitard playing a 10-man defence at Anfield and having one header on target and our mindset on Sunday. True, the game would have been different had Pogba or Mikrick (or Zlatan from the free kick they should never have had after Pogba's assault on Hendo) scored, but they didn't

1-1 was a fair result, but it says something that we ended up more disappointed with it than the Clog-Sparkers.

So what?

Bypassing the midfield and going long when you've got a strong aerial threat up top is as valid a tactic as any other.
