The matches don't get any easier for Paul Clement's beleaguered Swansea City team. Following their 0-4 defeat at home to Arsenal, the Swans' next match is against title chasing Liverpool at Anfield.
The day after Swansea's capitulation at the hands of the Gunners, Jurgen Klopp's team secured a creditable 1-1 draw away at Old Trafford, a result that puts them in 3rd place in the table, level on points with Spurs but 7 points behind leaders Chelsea.
Swansea, meantime, are rooted at the bottom of the table - a mere 30 points behind Klopp's men.
If Swans Manager Paul Clement didn't realise what a tough job he has on his hands trying to retain PL status, he must do now following the disappointing 0-2 FA Cup defeat against (then) bottom Hull City and the 0-4 reverse against Arsene Wenger's Arsenal.
The Swans squad is in need of strengthening and it will be interesting to see who may join during the course of this week - Tom Carroll and Martin Olsson are both rumoured to be joining Luciano Narsingh who signed last week.
Swansea and Liverpool have met on 40 previous occasions, with the Swans winning 10, Liverpool 22 & 8 draws.
In the corresponding fixture last season, the Swans lost 0-1. Jurgen Klopp picked up his first league win at Anfield as James Milner's second-half penalty gave Liverpool the points in a stale game against Swansea.
Milner converted after Swans full-back Neil Taylor was penalised for handball.

Looking ahead to Saturday, my head says that Liverpool should run out comfortable winners by (at least) 3 goals, but my heart says that the Swans are going to evoke the spirit and memories of the Swans team that went to Anfield on 29th February 1964 for an away FA Cup Quarter Finals match and came away shock 2-1 winners. So I'm going 2-1 to the Swans! (Think I will go for a lie down now ......
