I met a Reading friend today and he didn't even want to talk to me! <laugh> Seriously P'd that QPR beat them. As you can imagine I was gracious about our victory...:emoticon-0136-giggl It is like their cup final here in Berkshire. Greg understands how the locals feel about us. Most think we are some sort of rivals.......<laugh>......hang on........<laugh> muppets

I have no time for these self important cretins videoing themselves for youtube etc. He did mention the old fake Hoops issue though and it reminded me that a few years back a Reading fan shared a really in-depth analysis of the subject, it might have been pre-not 606 days. I believe the final anakysis was that Reading were first to adopt the Hoops but they played without them for long periods of their history whereas we have spent much longer playing in Hoops, or something like that. Anone else remember this thread?

Whatever the debate is with Reading at the end of the Day we are known for wearing the hoops and all football, the press, everyone knows us for Hoops and refer to us as 'R's' or 'Superhoops'. No matter how hard Reading fans try to make instant history, it ain't gonna happen. Reading are the 'Royals' now after changing from the 'Biscuitmen'. In a few years they will change colours again and call themselves United.

If that video had lasted 2 minutes it would've been repetitive

And alarming camera shake - makes me wonder what he was doing with his other hand....

F*ck me. I got three minutes into this sad tossers diatribe and almost blew chunks. F*ck off back to the sordid little grief hole of your bedroom at your mums house. And get f*cking broadband wifi, that way you don't need to drill holes in your poorly artexed ceiling through which you feed cables!!! What a c*nt!!

Remember it well. Came over as a an intelligent and reasonably balanced fella. However, agree with Ellers. Who was first is irrelevant since they are not, and have not ever been, The Hoops, Superhoops, Hoopssaa etc. Reading have no more to do with Hoops than Barcelona (see pic). The rubric for the image stated, "Barcelona have abandoned their traditional vertical stripes for hoops".
