Definitely a pass, he played it with the outside of his boot. He was well aware of where Mackie was. Manning was excellent last night.
 
I'm not sure. I've watched it three times and felt it was an attempt on goal.
 
Sublime reverse pass - as he approaches the ball, he looks up to see where Mackie is, and executed it perfectly. To think that the club were close to terminating his contract only a few weeks ago, whereas now he is one of our rising stars. Along with Furlong, who was excellent last night, Doughty, Shodipo and the other young players that Ollie is blooding, the future looks brighter than it has for a while.

Surely it was a pass. The way he ran onto it and hit it was class both him and Furlong played really well.
It's a shame that we spent all that money on wasters and the hungry talent was shipped out on loan.

He didn't even try to swing a boot at it. He dabbed it with the outside of the boot. Definite beauty of a pass.
 
It looks as if he knew exactly what he was doing.....no way was it a miss hit shot......

Tell you what a certain Mr Martin O'Neill will be taking a keen interest in his performances, if he carries on like this he'll be selected for the Senior Irish squad before long.......
 
A sublime pass that followed Pawel Wszolek looking up twice to pick Manning out for his pull back.

This was a proper football goal!

1000000000000000% Pass. He hit the ball with the outside of his left foot. Unless they have changed the laws of physics there is no way that he could have meant that to be a shot.
