Understand his wife and kids couldn't settle in UK and had already moved back to Germany.......in circumstances I don't believe anyone should begrudge him a move back.........

Always welcome back at HQ as far as I'm concerned.....
I am pleased to know that. Sometimes it just does not work out I guess. Perhaps more often than not for QPR!

Yes it's a real shame, he seemed like the right sort. I think he enjoyed London as he used to post pictures of himself and his parents touring the attractions.

SEBASTIAN Polter has completed a permanent transfer from QPR to FC Union Berlin, joining the German second-tier side for an undisclosed fee.

The striker joined the R's from Mainz in the summer of 2015, and in his time at Loftus Road made 56 appearances, scoring 11 goals.

: “I am sorry to lose Seb. He is a great professional and has an attitude that I love.
“Whether it’s in training or in matches, he gives you everything he’s got. His desire and commitment made him very popular with the fans here, which tells you everything.
“We wish him every success in the future because he is a man who deserves it.”
Polter added: “I have had a fantastic time at QPR. At the start it was difficult for me but I came through and really enjoyed the honour of playing for the club.
“I am sad to leave but, for family reasons, this move back to Germany at this particular moment in my life is the right thing for me to do, so I could not turn this down.
“QPR will always be a special club for me and I have made memories here that I will keep with me forever.
“I want to thank the fans for the love they have shown me. They are incredible supporters.”
The club would like to thank Seb for his contribution during his time with us, and wish him every success in the future.
The deal is subject to International Clearance being issued.

I think that clears that up, no fingers to be pointed at Holloway here. Seb being very generous to the fans there, he knows full well that the Union Berlin fans are a cut above. They turned out to build their own stadium. Good luck sir, one of the few bright spots over the last season and a half. And a gentleman to boot.
