Yeah, never bring him on at 1-0 lol.
My dad will be stuck between a rock and a hard place this Sunday - ever since SAF slated our fans for doing the Poznan he's hated your lot - but he's hated Liverpool far longer! No idea who his bias will lean towards (as it's basically leaned towards almost everyone Utd have played in recent times!!)

Remind him that Fergie also called Newcastle a 'wee club'... that'll cheer him up.

And they'd have a PL title to rub in your faces if it wasn't for us. <ok>

He';s a stubborn old git man (although I'd never tell him that - he'd kill me!!!)

I hadn't noticed Jenkinson getting loads of reds so fair enough if that's true. Always looked a decent player to me, athletic and a threat going forward. Cleverley ain't great or anything and neither is Jenkinson but I'm assuming from what the club have said and from what we know that players of their calibre are as good as we're going to get, sadly.
Maybe not reds but he commits an awful lot of hair raising tackles which maybe OK at Arsenal but they will be pulled up here and no doubt be a yellow. Time will tell - I think Cleverley is probably not even the same level as Rodwell TBH. I'd rather have Rodwell playing

After 20 games in the 15/16 season:

Sunderland Played 20, lost 13, drew 3, won 4. GD -17 position - 19th

Fast FWD 12 Months

Sunderland Played 20, lost 13, drew 3, won 4. GD -18 position -18th

Scary isn't it!! Although this time last year we had money to spend and players brought in!!

@Vegas

He played for Watford today so you don't have to worry about that. Don't think he's that bad compared to what we've already got but it doesn't matter anyway.

Been in the US for 2 weeks so am a bit behind :) just got back and saw our piss poor performance today on MOTD :(

Let's hope Dave can turn it around. Players like big Vic and Hoff staying fit, keeping Kone and PVA will be key.

Of course if we lose Defoe to injury or a transfer were ****ed.

IMO to stay up we need to sign a quality midfielder in the mould of Mvila and an attacking player to perform luke Khazri did last year.

It's a simple game, win the ball, keep the ball (good midfielders), the other team cannot score if they don't have the ball. Create chances for the forwards.

Our forwards will score goals given the chance.

Woke up this morning and realised we are in the middle of January already, checked the transfer rumours ......and still nothing doing by Dave & Co.
Am I surprised... well not really they did warn us after all but it dos'nt stop the hurt I'm feeling at the moment for my wonderful club, just got to keep my chin up but its getting more and more difficult.

Can anyone offer more cheerful news?
