I am on one of them but its hard work.

Get a few messages from mingers and the odd message back from better looking ones.

I struggle getting motivated by messaging a girl online.

Difficult to get your personality across. It is shallow.

Play the numbers game, get a load of them matched up and then just ask them out - skip all the crappy internet talking bit and go straight to the first date, much easier to figure out which ones are worth the effort when you've actually met them but dating apps are an easy way to meet them in the first place!

Interesting thread.

For me, I don't feel confident until I'm happy with how I look - especially with approaching woman.

I'm 29 and have always struggled keeping weight off - I've never been really big and have lost weight on and off over the years.

I got fed up basically and wanted a bird so got on the calorie counting and exercise.

I weighed 14st 10oz at beginning of September last year and got down to 12st 2oz in mid November and, low and behold, had a fit bird on the go for a while.

I'm 6ft so 12st 4oz (what I weigh now) is not a bad weight for me - having lost 2 stone and a half.

Looking to trim last bits off and put a bit of muscle on.

Mainly to get another girl and for my own personal happiness <ok>

If you're six foot and about 12 stone then I struggle to imagine you needing to worry about your weight! Even up at 14 and a half you'd just look normal I'd imagine..

I'm the best part of 6ft. I weigh around 13 1/2st. But a lot depends on your frame, your bone structure. One guy at 6' and 14st is overweight, another isn't.

I suppose so, I'm about 6'3 and when I weighed between 12 and 12 and a half stone I looked unhealthily thin, now I'm up around 14 and a half and looking much better, though I could probably do with dropping to about 14.

Real men can talk about feeling fat and dating troubles! <wah>

Where's the chocolate...
I'm a man scorned at the moment, been through a load of ****e with women. [HASHTAG]#menanist[/HASHTAG]

I'm not self conscious about my weight at the moment, either :bandit:
