Yes, by the skin of our teeth,

Woke up this morning feeling so positive about this City I would have been ready to predict we would beat Man U win a cup and also stay up, coming down to earth a bit now but even so the players are up for it,our new coaching team definitely are, supporters have been doing their bit last few games (barring yesterday) just need Ehab to do the business with new players.

we went into the season being one of the worst prepared teams to ever start a premier league season , we are , at mid way , exactly were most people expected , I cant see how we can turn this season around . . . tell me the last time we had a stronger second half to a season ??, it was 2007/8 i reckon .

In a word NO , nor do i much care anyway at the moment.

But after those games, surely you too thought he'd done extremely well?

ABSOLUTELY Kemps I still think with what he was given he did well. I may be in a minority of one here but he had ano impossible task IMHO.

However, as George Micheal said to Robbie Williams "One swallow doesn't make a bummer" (or something like that anyway)

We beat a **** Swansea side. Good, job done. Everything we could have asked Marco and players.

But....we've a long way to go still.

No. Unfortunately the new management has the same problem as the old management, a maximum of about 15 players to choose from.

The £10m striker should help but Marco hasn't got a lot of time to get the required momentum from the team. I wish him luck.

You're far from being in a minority on this subject ST. I'll be honest, I have no idea yet on whether we'll stay up. If pushed I'd say we aren't one of the worst three sides, so survival is there for us if the team want it enough.

It completely depends on who we sign in the January window but before Mbokani and Elmo left we weren't strong enough, so we need to replace them and then get 2/3 quality players, which is highly unlikely.

So I think we will go down.

With backing to the manager to bring 4 or so of his own players in, than yes I think we will stay up (just!). With no backing, no I don't think we will.

Over to you Allams.

Bringing in a new manager and then not backing him is like buying a new iphone7 and not charging it..
Shame he couldn't back Bruce.
Shame he couldn't back Phelan.
Why appoint a manager you have no faith in?
Why would anyone think this manager will get backed if the previous 2 weren't?

We need 5 players not 3
Rb & Cb though Jenkinson could cover this, I doubt we will get him
1 striker
1 winger
Someone who can play striker/winger

And be able to fit straight in.

Doubt we will get those players sadly
