My worry is we are getting rid of one of our best players and assets for someone Chelsea don't want as he has been **** and if he cant score or do well at Chelsea what chance does he have here.

To be fair but Batsh hasn't really had a chance and only had a few minutes here and there. I'm wondering if we are going to get back to the 'Swansea Way' under Clements, is Llorente going to be quick/mobile enough to play the leading attacker?

I think Llorente is so suited to Clements style, his hold up play is superb and he is superb at bringing in other players, as was bony. Whilst Llorente isn't the quickest, his mind is miles in front of the others. I would be gutted to lose him, for me him and Siggy are the only real class we have in our side and it would be a massive risk to try another striker who has no PL experience instead of one who has and for me is working.

I know price tags dont always equate to quality but a 33 million pound striker swap for llorente seems a good move. He maybe struggling for game time at Chelsea but they do have Costa. Conte has history with Llorente so knows his game better and may see him as a better fit for them

I take it back. Just read an interview Conte gave and he reckons Batschuayi is struggling withe the physicality of the PL. If thats the case why would we wont him we are after all in the same league.. to swap our one striker that is now scoring consistently for us for 1 that his current manager doesnt feel is up to it for this league seems madness. Chelsea want him to get game time experience with us on loan. Doesnt really benefit us at all

This is why I wouldn't get it and lets not forget because Chelsea signed him his price will have been inflated, I have never been impressed with him in the little I have seen. I just think Llorente is mega important to us right now and gives us a much better chance of survival if he is here than if he isn't.

NTEP TO SWANSEA?

Swansea are planning a shock raid for Rennes star Paul-Georges Ntep, according to the Sunday Mirror.

Fat Sam also sniffing around him

"Crystal Palace have enquired about Rennes winger Paul-Georges Ntep after his move to Wolfsburg hit a hitch.
The 24-year-old France international is out of contract in the summer.
Sam Allardyce also remains keen on Sunderland left-back Patrick Van Aanholt and has discussed West Ham defender James Collins."

I am sure it is old news, weren't we linked to him in the summer.

I was concerned at Clements comments on transfer, in that don't expec to many only 1 or 2 as we have good players. Well they don't look to good at the moment paul.

Realistically we need without any departures; LB, CB, CDM, RW and LW

Linked so far;

ST, Batshuayi
LW/RW, Ntep and Luciano Narsingh
CDM, Carrol
CB; Holger Badstuber
