It looks like The current bottom 3, Boro, Palace and Watford will be taking the relegation spots and seemingly Palace have their cheque book ready. Can we pull 2 decent signings from somewhere?

Strange you're talking about Januzaj like this when for me he looks like he is really starting to have an impact. Khazri is an up and down player go can score a Worldy one game and be the worst player on the park the next. You would hope when you've been out you would come in and make it difficult for the boss to leave you out. He has made it easy and I'm guessing he hasn't impressed much in training either and is only getting a run out due to our low numbers. If we can get anywhere near 8M for him take it.
Like I said before, its.not really about Januzaj per se. More about the fact that we didn't need a player in his position.

JD on the bench today. Borini put there as an experiment and bags a hat trick. We sell JD for £25 mil last day of transfer window.:emoticon-0143-smirk:emoticon-0143-smirk:emoticon-0143-smirk:emoticon-0143-smirk:emoticon-0143-smirk:emoticon-0143-smirk:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

Why though mate? Januzaj doesn't take all 11 places in the squad does he? And as far as I can see Adnan hasn't played every game in the same position.

Your logic puts Gooch and Watmore both ahead of Khazri also.

Seems to me like there's more to it than favouritism.
I can't understand where you have got that from, mate?

Don't want this to go around in circles, kinda feel as though I've made my point. I just think Moyes has gone with Januzaj as that is what he knows and he hasn't giving Khazri anywhere close to a fair crack at the whip. Which is disappointing because we know how good he can be for us.

So what? He looked good at the start of the previous season. Dick ****ed off, Sam tried him but fined him for a poor attitude - not warming down with his team mates against Watford - and benched him. He played one more game, last of the season against watford, a game which meant nowt.

I'm sure by that point he wanted to get out.
He is clearly much happier where he is, and does not want to come back.

Yet Moyes is being slagged off for not keeping a player who prefers working with another manager he's more comfortable with (and doing well); yet Moyes is then slated for working with one player he has had success with, rather than one who doesn't want to be here.

OK.
You are just talking about the past, which isn't really fair. Lens came back this summer, in the best form and shape, he had been in since signing for the club.

Lens has gone on record as saying he wasn't wanted at the club by Moyes when he was ready to play and he doesn't know why.

Moyes has basically ****ed off Lens and Khazri, for Januzaj. Both of which are better players, imho.

My point is, why not play both? They're not the same player. With all of your injuries surely that'd have been an option at some point. He still chose not to.

Moyes has p*ssed quite a few fans off by not playing both. I would like to have seen this but Moyes is our manager and we have to go with what he chooses.

I've just clicked on what you meant. You could have said the current bottom 3 AND blah blah blah.

Then we would have understood <laugh>

We´re not going to get a new striker are we, so we need some quality in midfield. If we could sell Khazri and Coates we may have 10M to get someone in. If Moyes isn't going to play Khazri then we should get decent cash if we can.

Lens, Coates & Khazri.

Leaving aside the argument as to whether or not they should be playing for us, the fact remains that, for whatever reason, they`re not. One is playing about 10 minutes a week and the other two are not here at all so selling them will be a negligible weakening of the squad.

At todays prices those three might finance a couple of little better than average players unless Moyes can unearth a couple of these "gems" he`s famous for.

There`s still the Alvarez debacle to resolve.

Whatever happens, if that`s all the funding Moyes is going to get then we are still well and truly in the clarts.

We should be getting no less than 10m for Khazri. We don't rate Coates, but again, with his age and everything we should be looking at a minimum 5 million.

There`s that important word again.

I feel a little more confident with Bain than with the useless Byrne but not massively so yet. This window might give us a better idea as to his negotiating skills.

Up to now I suspect those who run business courses could hold us up as a shining example of how to get things spectacularly wrong.

It`s not just a case of hoping things change, they have to, and sharpish.

Yes but Bain's tits aren't as nice.
