and I can't wait! Spent the summer reading every article there is to read about Sunderland. Been excited with the new signings and those we have been linked with. However, nothing beats the build up to match day. As I said can't wait....

I keep thinking, as it is only Tuesday, surely the police etc will have managed to stop it before the weekend. So I am putting all thoughts of the match being cancelled to the back of my mind and concentrating on the build up. BTW did anyone listen to Steve Bruce on bbc radio Newcastle tonight?
I will never tune in to that station on principle: as a BBC local radio station its name should be representative of the region as a whole, and not one particular city.
I just found out that I'm going to be driving out into the middle of nowhere on Saturday morning and not back in civilisation until next Sunday. The world is a crule place. I will have internet but as we all know that is pretty ****e compared to any other options. I was going to write that I was going to be 'in the bush' until Sunday but that makes it sound like a good thing.
I've never understood why, when you listen to the radio station, they call it Radio Newcastle but if you look on the BBC local radio website Radio Newcastle doesn't exist. It is shown there as Tyne and Wear.
