They could appoint Jesus of Nazareth and it's make no difference to their survival chances.

They were buried the moment the Allams decided to not back Steve Bruce in the transfer market last summer, stupid pair of ****s.
Maybe.........they are only 4 points from safety as we stand. Its going to be a struggle but this guy
has some interesting form

1 win in their last 17 league games and they'll need 27 points from 18 games to stay up.

Not happening.

Crucial month alright. In fact if we get through it in good shape, the run in is one of the easiest compared to the competition. Even more incentive to do well.

I hope that Klopp will rest his key players in the EFL match. No brainer really.

Virtual youth team in the FA cup tie, then go with a mix of some first team, some reserves and the better youngsters for the 1st leg.
Try to stay in the the Tie at least.

Would be daft to get a semi-final and then chuck it away with a very weak team. The Saints hammered Arsenal when they tried it at home!

I reckon the team v saints will be as strong as it can be.

I don't quite get where we are going to scrape up "reserves"

Lets face it

we have:

milner v moreno
Matip v klavan (if matip is fit)
Can to compete with 3 guys at CM (if henderson is even fit)
then sturridge and origi up top to go with firmino and coutinho (again if 2 of those 4 are fit)

so for the saints the only choices IMO are play matip or not, play henderson or not and play coutinho or not!

we don't have that much as proven by out bench v sunderland. we just don't have all that much quality to come in.

Lucas? moreno? origi yes but thats about it especially with injuries.

Camel face got well sussed out telling porkies.

"Wow. Rio Ferdinand. We are impressed with your dedication to training. Getting up at 04:45 GMT this morning for a work out...

Considering it is still pretty dark at around 08:30 here, he must have a pretty good flash on that camera... "

"Frosty early this morning at 4.35am.... no better feeling than the crisp cold on ya face!!! [HASHTAG]#JustShowUp[/HASHTAG] "

He did this a few weeks ago too (different pic)

Yeah, thing is BBC Salford have a direct link to the ****'s twitter account and publish most of his football related tweets, you'd think by now he'd know this and stop the bs.

you'd think but he lives in a world where he thinks as an ould fella any training he does would have some sort of interest to todays game. nobody cares. you are an explayer.. nothing more. it might as well be a fat old man in lycra on a really expensive cycle.

yeah rio it's just the baldy bonce that really makes pug ears look like our fat ****.

really its the total narcissism of both that can lead to the confusion.
It's the way of the modern world though, isn't it? For some reason we're all expected to be interested in the minutiae of other people's daily lives.
Like all the Kardashian/ Towie type programmes - really, who gives a ****?

Unfortunately a lot of people seem to care. Its why more and more similar programmes are popping up and we are seeing more and more reality stars on TV.

I agree more with tobes on this one.

1. They showed zero heart and all their points came ealry more or less

2. They have appointed a guy with no prem experience

3. They have not got the players (yet)

so for me yes they are only a few points from safety BUT for me swansea and hull are red hot favorites for the drop and it will take both clubs quite a bit of spend on the absolute right players to pull this off.

As it stands you would you have most faith in surviving is the question:

now anyone really in bottom half could go in a spiral but

for me this is the prospective pool of clubs looking at the drop as it stands

West ham (have too much when carroll gets goals they will get enough points)
Watford (look on a death spiral to me but have only a need for 18 more points = 6 wins in 18)
Leicester City (will struggle unitl mahrez and vardy are back BUT have home form to count on)
Middlesbrough (look well organised by lack goals, could be in danger)
Crystal Palace - allardyce only needs a decent CB and CM and he's ssweet. I can't see them go down.
Swansea City
Hull City

So really would you back hull to catch watford? maybe with a fair wind but would you back them to catch both watford and boro? as of now i just feel its down to watford boro hull and swansea

I feel Burnley still have a very good chance of going down. They haven't won a single away game and all it takes is for their home form to start tumbling and they could drop in there.
