What manager in their right mind would want to sell a player if he could only spend 25% of the transfer fee? Bearing in mind we are woefully short of bodies, that would be trading down. You might as well keep what you have.
Not sure about that. He desperately wants to rebuild his reputation and we're a complete free hit - go down and it's 100% what would be expected, stay up and it's a miracle. He can't lose really.
