The yanks will probably approach Sylvester Stallone.

Interesting one this. Mess up and relegation will be the least of their worries Rowett would be an excellent appointment.

I see Giggs is favourite. They wouldn't??? Disaster written all over it

Rowett not even mentioned on Swans' site. Names such as Sousa, Martinez and others quoted. They are looking at Prem or European experience.

I guess Rowett would like the challenge but many would not fancy it. Pardew maybe or is he comfortable with his £4.8m pay off from Palace?

To use Oscar's quote, "to lose one manager in the first half of the season is unfortunate, to lose two is careless."

They could do worse than go back to Monk, but he probably thinks he has a chance of helping Sparkey win his bet where he is.

If the yanks hadn't come in I wonder if Monk would still be there and the Swans in a better league position.

Smacks of panic in the board room down west!

They've left it too late, should have gone for big Sam before Palace did.

Agree with Hilts, Giggs would be a disaster.

Yup - the appointment of Giggs wil ensure their demise.

Remote - Monk was sacked by Jenkins long before the Yanks got their claws on the club. Guidolin comfortably kept them up and it's fair to say that Monk probably would have done so as well. The sacking of Guidolin and the appointment of Bradley after less than a dozen games this season was an epic gamble by the Yanks and has put the club in a very precarious position.

There appeared to be a lot of friction between Guidolin and the players at the time and that could have had a lot to do with it. Jenkins selling Williams in the summer and replacing him with "lesser stock" was also a bum move and I fear the club is going to pay a price far greater than that they got for Williams.

BTW, my pre-season 2 quid Leeds up/Swansea down double at 64/1 is offering a cash out of £8.98 today - I think I'll hang in there for the moment.:emoticon-0105-wink:

Ah yes, my bad. Shows how much attention I pay Sparkey.

I suppose they did the right thing in dumping him now. They need the incoming manager to make his own signings.

Will be interesting to see who wants the job.

Pity. Slade is already taken. <whistle>

Press have Harry Redknapp in the frame with John Terry & Steven Caulker to shore up their defence.

If they sign Caulker they can appoint Guardiola and they will still get relegated.

Surely they wouldnt. Theyd be better off going to Burton and signing Ben Turner.

Reckon it'll be Coleman. He's a jack. Wales won't qualify for the WC. Easy return for him to the PL and he can probably write his own pay cheque and bonus for staying up.

Plus he probably still has his caravan down there to move into once he's chucked the tenants out<laugh><laugh><laugh>

Kenny "where's my coat" Jacket though as an outsider?<whistle>:1980_boogie_down:<laugh>

Apparently Rowett and Paul Clement are now in the frame.

Can someone figure out what Curtis is saying here!

"What the club needs is not a change of direction. The club has been the club and the way we run the club is the way that suits us. "Somebody needs to come in with our philosophy with a little bit of experience and perhaps look at it with fresh eyes. That's exactly what it needs."

Go on then . . .

Probably Daiswan then.........<laugh>

Recently, on a different thread, you lambasted Leighton James for being "opinionated",i.e., having opinions.
Now here YOU are expressing YOUR opinions, i.e., being "opinionated".
You really didn't it through, did you? <laugh>

Oh, and the "caravan " jibe is SO funny. <laugh><laugh>

We need to be the same but we need to be different?
