Am I the only one who is beginning to fear that Delia will, if we reach another ' Chase hostility frenzy' , get her money back by selling out the Club containing a prime City development site and an even more attractive development site at Colney to a bunch of asset strippers like SISU leading, like Coventry, to our inevitable demise. We are not an attractive investment proposition. Despite the loyal support you bang on about we have lost money most years and are budgeting a potential loss of £12m this year. We are not based in a location favoured by foreign investors and the only people interested in buying us would be somebody, like Delia, with an affection for the Club or asset strippers. Have you just thought for a moment that there isn't enough money in the Club to support this years loss and if you manage to force Delia out we might just go 'tits up' as there is no other money on the Board despite the efforts of Stephen Fry to find it? Have you even considered that our financial position is precarious and the Board were relying on a swift return to the Premiership to survive and therefore our slide out of contention is a bigger financial headache to the Board than the future of AN or the anger of the supporters. Sacking AN would make the financial situation even worse and would probably mean the sale of yet another player in Jan to try and balance the books and what would our advert for a replacement read? Wanted - A manager for a mid table Championship side in financial difficulties who will be selling their best players in Jan to balance the books. Must be prepared to work with existing backroom staff as we cannot afford to pay them off as well and must also be prepared to accept huge financial restraints and a disgruntled fan base. Sounds attractive doesn't it? If any of you know of a season ticket holder with £100m in his back pocket I am sure Delia would sell out - if not, be careful what you wish for!!
