In case anyone's forgot: 1) he was complicit in Ashley's 'wrecking the team' ways. Never once publically spoke out as Ashley sold a key player. 2) he regularly went for home 0-0 draws by not attacking until the opposition scored first. 3) Demba Ba, Yohan Cabaye and Papiss Cisse brought him credit on a plate. 4) he should never been Chris Hughton's job in the first place.
Rumours that Allerdyce being interviewed tomorrow. Pardew still laughing though, despite utter failure he's about to receive £4.8 m in compo. Why does failure reward people so well?
We're all in the wrong jobs. Football agents and managers is where you want to be. Agent for phoning a club saying, fancy buying my player? They want X amount a week(of which I get 10%) plus a signing on bonus of X amount (of which I get 10%) plus you'll need to pay me an agents fee for picking up the phone and phoning you. And managers for being able to be given crazy high redundancy packages that ease any kind of pain in getting sacked
Not a big surprise, Palace have been bloody awful for ages. No tactical nous whatsoever. We did warn them, but they didnt listen cos they said we were vindictive. No, we were speaking from experience, and the experience was awful. The 5th place was a fluke, down to Ba, Cisse, Ben Arfa and Cabaye, nowt to do with his tactics. Are you listening Mr Ian Wright... are you going to stick up for your mate NOW!! Brilliant News.....
Unless you at the top of the tree winning leagues and cup competitions any manager who speaks out publically against the club is going to have a short time in the job, other owners are also going to take note and are less likely to employ some bolshie git in the future, point two is an opinion only on your behalf, Ba Cabaye and Cisse did what players are supposed to do and played at the level expected for a while, take note how some players didn't bother when it mattered last season, relegation was not down to the manager alone. point 4 doesn't read and in any case no job belongs to someone especially in football. I don't think Pardew is or was a bad manager, he is just one of the group that only seems to get the tough jobs at the bottom end of the league and therefore they get this image, Allardyce was apparently sending stats and plans to Palace's American owners about the team , performance and how he would change things weeks ago, he has been pushing them to replace Pardew and is reported to have pushed their buttons by saying he would consider another job if they did not make a decision.
There's speaking out against the club and there's speaking out relating to decisions. He was on a 8 year contract. The bottom line was that to me, he did not engender any trust.
Pardew never once held up his hands and admitted he made mistakes. It was always someone else's fault; the fans, the pitch, science etc. When people describe someone as sneaky or a slimeball they could quite easily be describing Pardew. The guy was and is a turd. Hopefully the twat will never get another Premier League job and fades into the background like a fart.
Can't wait for him to be back where he belongs, managing a top European side. Couldn't hate palace more now. Not only got rid of sir al, they have appointed the corrupt fat tosser- I'd rather the mackems stay up. No club should be soiling football by inviting that disgrace back into the game. He belongs with Blatter and the other shady ****s
I blame him for the Prediction League not being up to date. Nev's been Pardewed. Or maybe Pardew's been Nevved.
