Agreed, of the two, I'd love to take Pulisic off Dortmunds hands!

Since we've been linked with Pulisic, I've tried to watch him as much as I can (beauty of BT Sport, they show quite a bit of Bundesliga)
He's impressed me loads, each time, great feet, quick, got a trick, can beat his man, good work rate, helps his FB out defensively too, end product can be worked on but then again the lad is only 18

Still need another CM. Someone that can dictate tempo from a deeper position to give Hendo some competition as well as competition at full back. If we can get someone that can cover both sides would be ideal
 
We maybe pinching another freebie off Shalke.. their LB has 6months left and will be allowed to discuss free transfers on Jan 1st..
At RB we have Clyne and I'm confident that Gomez or Trent-Darby are more than capable backups.
We'll need a CB in the Summer, agreed a CM to keep Hendo on his toes and a Winger/Striker to backup keep the front 3 on their toes.
Of that lot, I can see us only buying a Winger/Striker in Jan, think we'll do most of our shopping in the Summer window.

Hypothetically, if we wanted to shoehorn him into the team, and we didn't want to drop the current front 3, then Can or Gini need to make way, current untouchables are the front 3, Lallana, Hendo, Matip, Lovern, Clyne and Milner... Mings currently in goal until he cocks up.. and he will..
So, if we where to get him, then, IMHO he plays in place of Gini/Can, maybe in a slightly more advance role?
That'd be bloody attack minded but on current form I wouldn't drop any of the front 3, even for a player like him!

Think that's a bit different though...

Milner has always been a solid player with good defensive fundamentals. He's been good for me at LB but i think people agree he's not a brilliant FB but is doing a good job there. He's athletic enough and has the stamina to be a good stand in.

Lallana was always a central AM. Thats where he played for Southampton and was made a winger by you guys. Even then he's not even a true winger, he plays inside most of the time. Even in this system linking the team, he's not really a CM per se, he gets to do what he wants in a central attacking role.

Draxler has never played CM and i don't think i've ever seen him (not often albeit) had to have true defensive responsibilities like klopps cms. If you do get him i would be willing to wager he wouldn't ever get played at the CM spot.

Thats why i don't think he's the signing for you at 40m (someone mentioning signing to improve first 11) as he wouldn't make your first 11!

Heard a small link with that guy, can't remember his name, the LB. Think West Brom or someone like that were linked with him month or so back as wwll

Like I said, not seen him play in such a position and the assumptions were based on the fact that I don't think we'd split up the current front 3, if their form continues.
Another option would be a change in formation, a 4-2-3-1? With him playing as the false 9 with the current front 3 behind...
Who knows.. but as mentioned before, I don't see us having this issue because I don't believe we'll/can sign him.

he's been ok but falling over himself at times.

lallana is a decent cm in a 3.. but he's been let use his best attirbute with is work rate. he's got the intelligence to join the box like fat frankl used to which is nice but i don't think he's yet fit after his injury.
 
£60m for Oscar.... ridiculous. How do they keep selling their **** players to Brazil for crazy money.

Chinese clearly love an average Brazilian... we need to buy some to sell on!
