Yep love the leftover curry tradition. We have it on the 27th though as we do a ham on Boxing Day.

Tell me you're also doing a large free-range chicken, and I will begin to suspect that you've cribbed my Christmas shopping list!

We'll start soaking the ham tonight.

Make sure she puts an extra gas bottle in the back of her Rover 25 mate, as it'll be ****ing freezing in that static of yours

The missus will be taking her new Mercedes ML350.

I'll be going along in my newish CLK280.

Nice of you to show an interest, though, Tobes.
<ok>

That's a bit old school, curing methods have changed you don't usually need to do this anymore as there's not so much salt in the cure, you must use an old butchers using older methods?

I leave all that to the missus, mate.

Whatever she does to it, the ham always takes great.

Hers is a 2013 plate.

Thank you for your interest.
Of course it is HIAG, that'll be why you said it was new.

She was driving a crate when she stuffed it under the back of a truck, you then put her in another crate - a Rover 25 <laugh>

It's highly believable that you took her out of said crate and put her in a 'new' ML350.

You sad sack.

That's a lorry that has side and rear fenders...oops see what I did there!

Not that it is any business of yours, but she had owned that "crate" from new, and I had been on at her for the past couple of years to trade it in. She'd never seen the need to as, if she needed anything luxurious (as she refers to it) she'd always borrow one of mine. The car getting written off sorted that out. The Rover 25 was sold by a family friend, it had a full service history and had done around 40k miles, so it was a good immediate cover.

Why any of this should seem magically impossible to you, I will never know!

By the way, the ML350 that she now has is the very same one that I bought brand new in 2013 and sold to a family in 2015. We've bought it back at a good price.

That's odd, as when we spoke about cars in the past, you said you always bought used, as new cars devalued to quick.

Amazing that you bought this ML back from the people you sold it to as well, given that you told us that you were buying it from a dealer, and you'd decided to upgrade your own at the same time.

@PISKIE - you can add this one to his **** up thread mate <laugh>
