I listened to an interview with him on radio 5 earlier. Proper ****ing G that man, willing to put himself in the most dangerous position in the most dangerous places to get the story for everybody else.
He was asked if he feels despair at the world given the **** he's seen and he replied 'No, for every act of human atrocity, I've seen more acts of true bravery and absolute courage which tell me the human spirit is hardwired to overcome adversity'
I might be paraphrasing that comment, but it was words to that effect.

"Man U" was offensive because of Munich as it was part of a chant. However, it's rarely considered offensive now because you can tell if someone (older generation) is using it in that way. Mostly ppl nowadays say Man U to simply refer to to the club so it would be stupid imo to be offended by that. Even Skysports on the TV bring up the scores Man U e.g. Man U 6 - 0 Livpl so things have moved on.
Took some of the residents out for a Christmas lunch today on a restaurant overlooking a duck pond. Three of the lads were asylum seekers, one went out to get some fresh air. I looked out the window and he's on his knee's drinking out his cupped hands next to a load of ducks, ****ing pond water 
Bless him, poor ****er thought it was clean. Guessing for him it is.
Took him home and taught him to spell his name, nice lad, massively ****ed up due to the crushing of Aleppo.
