Binned it after 3 episode, dull as hell. The OA though has legs, looking forward to more.
MITHC is a definitely a lot grittier and darker than most of the stuff discussed on here.
I'm not either but he is quite good in this, shocked me as he's usually ****.

Maybe, I just found it boring and a little cheap looking with poor acting, certainly not grittier than Fargo though which really delivered. Better Call Saul also hit the right notes writing and acting was superb along with some stunning cinematography.
MITHC smacked of them hoping it would be a hit without having the balls to apply a proper budget, so opposite to The Get Down which hung their balls out there from the start and it was superb.
Not seen Fargo in decades. I wouldn't call Saul gritty. Dark humour at times, yes, but it's rather a fluffy dark humour.
Na that's not the problem..They are with Captain Antilles on Yavin who is captain of the Ship Leah is on. (He gets force choked start of New Hope). So I assume they went with him because C3PO tells Luke Antilles was their last master.
The issue is: If the Droids have already been at the secret rebel base why the **** would they need to go to Alderaan with Obiwan to handover the death star plans rather than just take them straight to the fecking rebel base!
how about the odd fact that they leave with the plans on a ship and they then head for tatoinne.. why would you take the plans you need to analyse to obi wan in a hick planet and not get right on analysing them.
Both very good points. I have one too which sprang to mind when Leia appears and then ****s off on her ship which presumably is the start of New Hope. Well... when Vader boards Leia's ship, the captain says they're a diplomatic ship - something that Leia also says when he captures her. Both times Vader replies, if this was a diplomatic ship where's the ambassador. BUT seeing as Rogue One shows the ship was part of the Rebel's mother ship, what Vader should've replied is "What the fck you on about bitch, I've just seen you in the middle of a warzone which you've just hyperspaced away from!! Having said that, all of these points a minor and insignificant compared to those gaping ones in Force Awakens and the 3 prequels
Agree also with MITO, I don't really buy this "everything in FA will be explained later". You can do that with some things to hook the viewer but not everything. They should've spent some time with character and/or plot development as they've done with Rogue One, so as the viewer has some interest/empathy with them.
I'm starting one of these government petitions to stop @Treble and @moreinjuredthanowen from messing with the original Star Wars films!

It's the trilogy idea that fecked the first 3..other than Lucas himself..nowhere near enough story for 3 films..a good director could have made an awesome episode 3 as a standalone prequel...
By the way did you know that David Lynch was offered Return of the Jedi...he turned it down but that would have been interesting lol...
It would've started off really well, gritty and mysterious almost and had everyone hooked... but then slowly disintegrated into some psychedelic trip into "Lynch world" where nothing makes sense and ended with a dream sequence where Alec Guiness dances to with the ghost of the Emperor after he's been thrown down the shute to the tune of the Imperial March, or some **** like that.
Gutted!Just finished OA. Disappointing and frankly **** ending.
