Really? Someone comes in with a hypothetical £30m bid you'd want the club to turn it down? That's pure delusion - £30m in Moyes hands will improve us for the remainder of the season - and it's not like our second choice is crap - Mannone is a good keeper.

And what do we do if Vito gets injured? You're not going to get £30m for Pickford either, £20m max imo and no i wouldn't sell him for that. Moyes spent £13+m on NDong and he's turned out to be a right superstar, not.

Different positions though - Keepers are never as expensive - I quite like N'Dong personally - wonder how any top midfielder would play when everyone in the positions directly surrounding them gets injured week after week. Be interesting to see how he does if we ever manage to get a settled midfield as I think he'd be a good signing personally (I said exactly the same after watching Djilibodji twice - saw something that few on here did and he's turning into a very good centre half now he's playing in a fairly settled defence)

£20m would be decent business too BTW for the club - as for the "What if Mannone get's injured" - it's the age old "If my Aunty had balls" scenario - what if Defoe got injured? We literally have no cover - I just think that the money, transfer wise and for the long term benefit of the club, would be useful - of course that would rely on Short allowing Moyes to spend it!!

I'm wondering if there's ever going to be a post by you about Sunderland that doesn't feature you saying you were right about something that nobody else was clever enough to see. I think I'll start making a mental note of all your predictions and remind you of them every time you're wrong.

Sorry to have a go at you but you're like a broken record at the moment and it's slowly driving me a bit crackers.

Messed up the quote, see above.

Must admit I've picked up on this habit that Marcus seems to have developed... Every time I read it I think of uncle Albert in only fools and horses saying "during the war..."

Agree with the last bit about Vito but I was not so.much delusional about selling Pickford for silly money but realistically wary - we would not have most of that money to spend on new players - fact.
We'd be fleeced in Jan if clubs knew we had cash to spare.
But thats my view - others have equally valid viewpoints & emotional concerns

Well with hindsight........

I'll **** off for a bit as I'm seemingly pissing everyone off

Nah mate you're right, just if you find yourself typing one of the following: "hindsight", "very few, if any, people on here", or "I was the only one who was right" spare a thought for old Nacho's mental health.

The Tel, Nacho and Disco, bullying trio, are back to what they do best.

No wonder people don't bother posting on here.

Mate no one wants you to leave for a bit or anything, it does just seem like you're trotting out the same stuff.

Maybe you're just really good at predicting things?

Drama queen doesn't suit you mate, you're part of the furniture and always have a good debate when you've got the time. It's just coming across as a little patronising/self serving but we know you don't mean it that way. I'd rather be honest with you.
