Didi I get the date right (other than the year?).

Still remember it well as my Cat went flying and never came back and I was living in Sevenoaks, probably the worst hit area. We ended up with 2 oaks.

It's still called Sevenoaks though, as they planted 5 more <laugh>

I used to live not far away - about 9-10 miles - just across the border in surrey. Our village was cut off for 2days until they could clear all the fallen trees!..
