Unfair imo. Their defence has conceded about two in the last 10 games. Then, as well as Costa and Hazard the partnership of Kante and Matic has been solid. Moses and even Pedro who was bang average last season have played well. And you have Fabregas come in for a couple of games and chip in with goals and assists. They're looking like a machine tbh.

fair point. but I did mean the 2 or 3 players for scoring goals. I did think Palace matched them in the first half then 1 moment of brilliance/**** defending and Chelsea lead.

They keep doing that. I was thinking jammy bastards a few weeks ago with each game I watched. But at some point it becomes more than that, they seem to be relentless tbf.

Beginning to rate Conte but waiting to see how he deals with things when the 3 at the back gets exposed.

I've rated Costa for a while. He might be a **** and not the most talented player in the world but he knows what he can do and where the goal is. He's a very effective forward.

Well, it's not a popularity contest - if they did manage to take anything off the Chavs I'd be willing to forego dislike for a bit. <ok>

Effective is a good word to describe him. But as a footballer or even as a striker, there's something about him that doesn't quite impress with me, like an RVN, Henry, Torres or Drogba.

He's the type of player you'd appreciate more if you watched him live. You can see his all round contribution to the team then and how much he actually works off the ball.
