Had me going there<doh>

Will he play Manga or Connelly?

Manga's off to the Africa Cup Of Nations in Jan/being sold so I'd back Connolly. Unfortunately for us Matt hasn't been playing anywhere near the level he has over the last couple of seasons. Time to step up <o>

When he went out on loan at Watford, helping them clinch promotion he was excellent.....can we have that Connolly please? <cool>

I think the auto 3 match ban depends upon the reason for the red.

A straight red for dangerous or violent play toward another player is certainly a 3 game ban but I'm still not sure what Bamba was actually sent off for.

His play wasn't "dangerous or violent", in fact it was the Ipswich guy who should have marched. Maybe the dissent toward the officials was the reason?

Sorry Bluey - a 3 game ban for foul and abusive language for you!

Mind you, I'd consider an appeal on the grounds that as Cardiff supporter you're under considerable stress.............<laugh>

That will give me a bit more room for a while <cracker>

BT, I think Sparks was tentatively referring to a ban on here, subject to my appeal as above and any action considered necessary by the FA (and we all know what FA stands for!!!!)

Unfortunately for you this was not a Mourinho style stadium ban, so....................................................................................

Move over you fat bar steward!!!!

Talking of cards, Whittingham picked up his 5th yellow card of the season last night now many of them was because he was too slow ?

It's a debatable question that he's too slow, but there is some evidence to support your theory Dai.

He's had security lights that detect movement fitted at his house in the Bay and apparently he doesn't set them off.

Now that could be for two reasons. He may be too fast for the PIR's to register the movement, or on the other hand.................

Said as a bit of fun but there is a bit of truth there, he won't get a ban because last nights yellow was after the cut off.

Mind you I still think he would be faster than me, even if I use my stick. <laugh><laugh>

Got to look at the positives as well as the negatives. Once we got Noone and Zohore on last night with more movement and pace, he had something positive to aim for and his game picked up. First half most of our forwards were doing the mannequin challenge and only had statues to aim at.

He has never been quick and if left in a one on one he has always tended to foul. For someone who isn't known for getting stuck in, like Gunnar for instance, he has always picked up a high volume of yellows and the odd red.
