Someone from this planet please try and explain this to me ..................

Manchester City star Yaya Toure has apologised to fans after admitting drink-driving, but insisted he had "not intentionally consumed alcohol".
The Ivory Coast international midfielder said on Tuesday he had admitted the charge at a Monday court hearing, after being arrested in Dagenham, east London, on November 28. In a statement released on his website, Toure said he wanted to explain why, as a Muslim who does not drink, he had not contested the charge.

"The judge in his sentencing remarks accepted that I had not been intentionally drinking" He said: "I have always refused alcohol. Anyone who knows me or follows football will have seen me refuse champagne for man-of-the-match performances because of my commitment to my religion.
"The matter has now been resolved in court on Monday. As I was above the permitted limit when tested on the night, I decided not to challenge the charge.
"However, it was important to me that I told the court that I had not intentionally consumed alcohol. The judge in his sentencing remarks accepted that I had not been intentionally drinking. "Drink driving is a serious crime and even though I was not intentionally consuming alcohol I accept the ban and fine and I would like to apologise for this situation."

It seems that his story is along the lines of - 'I was the designated driver for a group of friends at a party and started drinking diet coke from a jug. It turns out the jug contained a cocktail and he felt a bit tired after a few glasses but was able to drive his friends home'............and then got stopped.

The other story is he had it intravenously administered during a routine blood transfusion following his hemorrhoids operation. Unfortunately they hooked it up to a bottle of Jack Daniels mistaking it for the rhesus negative in the hospital storage. He wouldn't have minded but the hemorrhoids have come back worse than ever following the "routine" rectoscopy carried out by the police officer who stopped him, so the whole thing has been a complete disaster.

    China and the Brazilians

So Oscar is being sold for £52m and the player will be paid £250k/week (with very little taken by tax). While this may appear insane to many, this is part of the overall project by Shanghai in particular and by China in general. Two objectives here: increase the profile of football in the country as the huge population are starting to be captivated by the premiership and La liga and 2. Increase the profile of shanghai as a City for business enterprise and entertainment.

Now the Chinese are offering £400k to Sanchez and ozil. And of course these players have to consider these offers seriously. Yes the football is not as exciting as Arsenal's but it will tempt them. Would you refuse an offer of 3 times your usual salary and massively increasing your fortune/savings? Arsenal won't be swayed to match the offer so they'll very likely lose these players. Wenger has already threatened to let them play out their contract.

And make no mistake: the Chinese think that the money is worth it and in the context of what they are trying to achieve this is peanuts.

They like Brazilians and many of those in china like Hulk and Ramirez are heavily involved in promotional activities.

The strong rumour in China where I have been the last couple of months is Coutinho. They will make an offer of around £450k/week to the player and around £60m to the club. There is no way the RS will be able to resist as they will keep raising the offer. The player's agents and the player himself will get such a huge cut of the deal that it will happen.

Puts the whole Pogba deal in perspective doesn't it?

No one wants to see a player injured, but you do have to question the sanity of City's move for Gundogan in the summer. Already recovering from a dislocated knee-cap when they signed him, now he seems likely to miss the rest of the season having injured the cruciate ligaments in that same knee.

It deem seem a "don't worry, it'll be right" moment.

Seemed destined to end in tears, and it has.
