Aaron Cresswell has been named Town's Player of the Year for 2011/12. Carlos Edwards second place with Lee Martin in third.

Good first choice, bad 2nd one - shows how many poor performances we have had this season when a player in defence who has been responsible directly for so many goals against can be voted our second best.

Only Town fans can vote for a Defender who has been part of a defence that has conceded 75 goals this season! <laugh>

Cresswell would have won my vote as well. First time at this level and has hasnt been embarrassed very often. A decent defender and can get forward.

Cresswell a deserving winner. The only player to be consistent all season!! Superb performances at the beginning of the season, decent enough at defending and very good going forward.

I think Drury will be player of the season next year, though don't hold me to it!! I'm a fan of JET but I think he's one of those players that will never be consistent enough to do it for a whole season!!

JET is the most talented player in the Championship, we only saw signs of him approaching his best in the second half of the season, but IMO he is the player that we should be building our team around next season, a sublime touch, (his cross for Chopra to score v Doncaster with the outside of his foot, his goals v West Ham); can go past three or four defenders at will, can shoot from distance, you can almost smell the fear from defenders as JET runs at them...

I just hope he's an Ipswich player next season, because if, as I hope, JET wins our Player of the Year, we will have had a very good season!

Seems more like a protest vote especially the inclusion of Hyam who (rightly or wrongly) has hardly played for you, and that fills me with a tinge of sadness.

The inclusion of Hyam? Probably is our best player IMO DM and it's insulting to say it's a protest vote. Aaron Cresswell is one of a handful of players who could have a future at Portman Road beyond championship football.
