I remember watching Tarbs at his best. Absolutely mesmerising. I got so excited once, a bit of wee came out!
I just wonder whether Tarbs would ever choose to read a thread like this. See how much we appreciated his talent and skill and see how disappointed with how his career has taken a massive nosedive since then. See how much the majority want him to get his head out of the sand and realise that you may have a god given talent, but you need to apply yourself in the right way. Maybe starting at the bottom is where he needs to be to get himself back on track but how much further dies he need to fall before he realises that his career in football is relatively short?
Good read. Would the real Adel Taarabt please stand up. http://thesefootballtimes.co/2017/02/16/would-the-real-adel-taarabt-please-stand-up/
It is too long a read. I lost interest after about 3 paragraphs. Can somebody give a 2 or 3 line summary?
If Adel had Mackie's work ethic and attitude he could have been up there with Bale. One day perhaps, when its too late and he has developed some maturity, it will finally dawn on him just how he has squandered the gift he was blessed with. For my part, I truly appreciate the wonder season we had with him, but I'm bored of the bloke now and cannot find any sympathy for his predicament.
We'd all like to think so. I suspect though that he will never grow up and it would not take too long for us to turn on him. The guy has had so many opportunities to turn it around but he can't get over the fact that he was shat upon by Redknapp twice. He has a bizarre mental flaw in that the more successive managers have had a go at him to buck his ideas up and put a shift in the more he feels that he is one of life's victims of massive injustice and goes off in a massive sulk. I'd love to be proved wrong but his credit with me for one glorious season and a handful of games in the Premier League is now exhausted and I'm not prepared to give him any more.
Technically one of if not the best player I have ever seen and that is some statement when I think about it. This lad with the right attitude could have been one of the world's best but alas will more likely be one of footballs forgotten.
Will only be rememered by a QPR football "clique". "I remember a certain Adel Taarabt. A wonderfully gifted player who was almost unplayable on his day. He tore up the Championship and got us to the Play Off Final at Wembley. A wonderful day. Unfortunately...."
What a prick he is......many would give up everything for having a fraction of his ability and earning power.....and all that twat can do is destroy every bit of credibility he has got. No sympathy for that waster whatsoever.
