McG it is! Bout time too! Do we deserve it...who gives a flying f...k! Do wonders for his confidence too.
Or maybe last night he was visited by three ghosts that managed to convince him of his poor choices and the error of his ways.....and then this morning he woke up a changed man. "You boy what's your name" " why it's Andre Dozzell Gaffer" " well run as fast as you can and get your boots for today you play"
Might mean a more cheerful Xmas party for them all. Mixed feelings, from what one hears, it has confirmed several things for us. Speaks vols that Bart is still our best player and MOM! Still, 3pts is 3pts and scoring 3 goals too...when did we last do that!?
A win against a piss poor Wigan side who managed to score 2 goals. Forgive me for not popping the champagne corks lads!
All this has done is prolong the agony! Yes a win is welcome but you have to look at the bigger picture!
Understand your attitude warkie...still hope springs eternal p.s Maybe its time to change the banner of ten years to nearly 20 !!!
They'll be dancing in the streets of Woodbridge and Beccles and Bury and Newmarket and Sudbury and Haverhill and on the Chantry tonight!
Dam that was close I really thought that had we lost Mick would go I noticed that all his mates have been coming out of the woodwork to support him in the last couple of weeks and today was no exception with Ian Dowie saying what a great manager and master tactician Mick is No doubt Mick will get a year extension to his contract on the back of this result lol I have to admit that I was hoping that we would lose today just to push along his departure and that is really hard for me to feel this way It just proves how distant and disenchanted some of us feel Due to the energy crisis the light at the end of the tunnel has once again been turned off
Be grateful, with our luck the light at the end of the tunnel would only prove to be an approaching train!!
Don't get me started on that one Gaffer! I live I and work in Sussex and it's been a bloody nightmare! The government have got to step in before more innocent commuters get fired because they can't make it into work!
Bigger picture for me is making sure we get enough points, regardless who the manager is. Don't get me wrong, I want a change in manager but I want to stay in the league more. I'm not confident we'd bounce back if we went down. I want to stay in the league as long as Mick is in charge and beyond. We and the club will be around long after he's gone and I want us to be in the championship when it happens.
