Is it because we have no money? Do we need to sell to buy (yet again). As much as I will always love the club it certainly does frustrate me. We continually appear to lack ambition.
Alright mate, always good to see another Blue on the site - welcome My educated guess would be we've been waiting for the TV cheque to land, we then use that to pay off the Vibrac loan, then they decide whether they're going to renew it. I've heard they are going to and that there will be transfer business carried out, irrespective of any outgoings. 2 plus a loan would be my guess. Frustrating I know. Kenwright and Co are out of their depth in the PL era. Time to pack up and ship out Bill.
Bill & the board need to leave asap imo. How they have been looking 24/7 ( absolute bollocks) yet unable to find a buyer is boyond belief. I find a lots of blues are conned by the bill pr machine and pretty much forgive anything he does.
I agree that it will be a CB and a striker that we transfer in and possibly Lennon in addition to those two. I did have the lad who joined Stoke as a loan to buy player but clearly he is not in Roberto's plans/was a target. Austin would be my pick for a striker or Hernandez. No idea as for who Martinez could want at CB....maybe O'Shea?
John O'****e? ****ing hell no...... We're signing young Holgate from Barnsley, should be completed today / tomorrow according to a lad I know.
he is just another Wessie tosser ;-) Hear good reports from a Barnsley fan I work with, played more at RB. Maybe a cheaper option than Byram from Leeds
http://metro.co.uk/2015/08/12/mason...ton-after-transfer-offer-is-accepted-5338961/ Does your mate work for The Metro ;-)
He might do that on the sly for all I know Said we'd made a slightly better offer and the lad preferred us over Bournemouth.
Plus his mate plays for us, it's amazing how friendships can influence a players decision. Cheers Seamus ;-)
Surprised with the young lad from barnsley. We need an experienced cb to cover for stones & jags, admittedly I wouldn't have the foggest who.
