That's probably worth pointing out regularly, say daily, just to make sure that everybody is fully aware of the facts.

It's knowing what to do with a hot bird once you've pulled her that counts. Spurs last season was like getting her home, then jizzing in her hair before she'd even taken her coat off

Whereas we pulled our fittest bird for a generation, took her back to a 5 star hotel, and then passed out on the bathroom floor. ****ing it up at the death on the big stage.

Quality analogy btw @Tel <laugh> Post of the year so far <applause>

You were just conscious enough to sniff our fingers as we were leaving your room with your bird.

Liverpool managed what Chelsea couldn't and muster a point at the 3 Point Lane(irony alert before you latch onto it and use it as a blow up doll for the next 6 months)

It's an easy game to play...your late to this show

    Go and get ****ed <ok>

Going to have to disagree with this. Most of the Spurs fans are saying the opposite in respect to Arsenals and Spurs seasons (not that i blame them, the Arse fans came descending like a red flag to the bull). I can see the argument in both for top 4 vs FA cup trophy but there's definitely a slight bitterness there (even before the arse fans came over) around other teams trophy wins vs your second place finish.

Would anybody really disagree with this?

Most successful season by an English club 2016/17

    1) Chelsea - won the EPL title
    2) Man United - won the Europa League & The League Cup and thereby also got entry into the champions league next season
    3) Arsenal - won the FA Cup and thereby got entry into next season's Europa League
    4) Tottenham - finished second in the league but no silverwear - got entry into the champions league for next season
    5) Manchester City - finished third in the league but no silverwear - got entry into the champions league for next season
    6) Liverpool - finished fourth in the league but no silverwear - got entry into the champions league for next season
    7) Everton - finished 7th in the league but no silverwear - got entry into next season's Europa League

... and so on down league position ... there might be an argument that my own club by getting to the quarter finals of the UCL had a more 'successful' season than some of the teams that finished above us but not in a Europa spot ... unquestionably we would have had a better season financially with the monies we got from our UCL campaign.

But qualification for a European competition is just that .... hope one of the English teams goes further than we did ... but you'd have to win it for it to really count as a success.

If Arsenal had not won the cup they would have finished behind Liverpool in terms of the 'success' of thei season ... simples
