Certain Watford fans I know have become very arrogant very quickly. Plenty of time to bottle it again.
Miles to early to write anyone off or nail anyone on If Watford lose Deeney then I dont think they will be so confident
Nah I agree, Watford are definite winners for me. I figure if they aren't already comfortably winning the league by Christmas, they'll just loan another 8 players from Udinese in January
watford...............never ever liked them from the days of ross jenkins n wilf rostrom..............dont know why but just dont!......elton john never helped either!
I wouldn't dare say that our team will win the league this early - it's probably the most competetive league in the world let alone England. There are teams that have lost the first half dozen games of the season and still been promoted and there are teams that have been in the top 3 for the first few months that have been relegated. Not that long ago Watford were top in December before scrambling into the play-offs to lose to Hull. There is no guarantee of success. You have to look at the teams best equipped for a long season and that has to be Wigan & Reading, maybe QPR but knobody knows what their squad will be like next month. Other teams, well Bolton look like they will give it a go as well as Forest. I think Leicester City have a good first team but may not have the depth and Brighton who I thought would be dangerous have not started well. There is bound to be one un-fancied runner but I don't have a clue - although Bournmouth were really good last week and did not deserve that result at all. The fact is we all know everyone can beat everyone else on the day! Lastly, may I say that we do appear to be attracting a few new supporters to the boards this season who are a little over excited and disrespectful and unfortunatly I think it will continue. That said, maybe it gives a bit of life to the Forum that has been missing since 606 died.
I don't think Watford will be promoted in autos. I reckon they'll be top 6 and who knows who would win the playoffs. For me Forest look the strongest team in the league, Bolton could do it but im unsure. I've said Wigan before now but I forgot they have a lot of distractions this season so may struggle to string any sort of form together. I'd say Reading would be a good pick with perhaps Derby being the unfancied team up there (and maybe us )
Don't worry, it's a marathon, not a sprint, and Watford still have another 25 miles to loan the world and it's mother
I'm sorry, top scorers in the division say hi. Strangely I agree we're missing Vydra but we've got some new players who are bedding in. Difference this season is we're picking up points while they do. Oh and we've got one loan this season. Wonder how that compares with other teams?
Congratulations on only having one loan this season, have a gold star Yet I think you comfortably win the "number of free signings from one club" award.
Its alright smashing a few teams for 5 to make the goal difference look good. We did it last season. It still doesnt mean you have enough up front When things click teams cant handle you but thats the same with us and a few other teams. When things arent happening you need to grind things out Something we have recently learnt to do and long may that continue
