Prompted by the old cry of "Where's Ara"? So don't mean youngsters like Larnell Cole or Mesca who, mainly because of injuries, haven't featured but the more seasoned player who's non-appearance was a bit of a mystery. Mine is Freddie Stoor. The Swede joined us in the summer of 2008 and amazingly stayed for 3 years. Remember seeing him in what must have been his only game for us - in the League Cup I think - and commenting on his girth. Hadn't realised until reading something about Saturday's game against Derby that he'd been loaned out to them early in the 2009/10 season but came back early with an injury (allegedly). Not sure how much we paid for him but something like £2.5m comes to mind. He left in January 2011 on a free, joining Norwegian club Valerenga at the age of 26. Surely, Roy must have seen something in him but the fans sure as heck didn't get a chance to see what it was.
