Guys, I feel we need more of a tribute on here than just a quick thanks. So, favourite memories of Whitts?

Free kick vs Palace in the play off semi's.

Absolute legend of a player, 10 plus years with the club, has given us some great goals and has had some great times with us. I think it's the right move for him and the club now though. Thanks PW for being an absolute star and remaining loyal to the club!

"HERE'S TO YOU PETER WHITTINGHAM, CITY LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU WILL KNOW", I hope he goes and does what he wants now for Blackburn.

I loved his goal against Boro in the FA cup, I can't remember the year.

Too many great goals but fondly remember a volley at Reading, we won 2-1. Absolute legend
