My favourite by a long way is Ibra. He's a real character... arrogant.... and backs it up on the pitch.

His post match comments are hilarious and this week he compared himself to Benjamin Button :)

Eden Hazzard, his Mum and Dad used to live next to me in Penshaw. They got fed up with some old tw@t on a motorbike riding up and down the hill to the Monument and moved to Belgium.

I'm with ACS, though to be fair Ibra's long been my favourite player of all time. Utterly and completely unique.

    Diego Costa

A proper throwback. Reminds me of Shearer so much with his win at all costs mentality. Love him and his aggression, his willingness to cheat, and the fact when the big games come, in the crucial moment, the lad always delivers.

I also think Mane is very much underrated. People go on about English managers and the English game handling players badly, but I think Klopp deserves a smash round the head for his handling of Mane. He was wrecked when he came back from the ACON and should have had an extended rest to freshen him up. They pressed him into action, he looked nowhere the player he is and got injured. At his best though he has everything. He scores goals, creates goals, left foot, right foot, heading ability. He is extremely quick and powerful. Very skilful. And he works his bloody arse off too. Easily one of the best in this country. Hazard when he is on form is spellbinding and wonderful talent to watch. He just glides around the pitch.

I have to throw a defender in too. Alderweireld at Spurs is a fantastic talent.

Of the younger lads Sane and Jesus look like they could be ridiculous in a couple of years.

Costa is the nearest I've seen to Shearer in a long time too.
He's an absolute beast when in full flow.....

Paul Pogba for me. He's a bit of a showman and has the making of a complete midfield player.

Can't think of any that I like tbh. Doesn't help that I don't watch Premier League games.

Of today's group I would go for Zlatan.

He's arrogant but at least unlike some he has the talent to be arrogant about.

On the basis of monetary gain, Harry Kane or Dele Ali.
Otherwise I couldn't care less about other teams players.

Aye, he had a lucky escape.
We'd only have sent him out on loan or something.

The heady heights of Carlisle, I was thinking somewhere a bit lower.
Perhaps In the SPL at Rangers...

He could have been well and truly Pardewed.

Zlatan because he isn't just hype. One of the best players that I have ever seen. Arrogant as hell but you wouldn't argue with him. Love the guy.
